Your videos are so darn helpful. I found you a couple weeks ago when I was looking for reviews on the GE profile opal 2 and here I am again as I'm researching robot vacuums. thanks for taking the time to put these videos together. You're definitely getting my like and subscribe.
I'm learning after 2 years that the answer to the question asked here is actually, don't buy any of them. I just called Roomba regarding a part for a mop hinge. One of the hinges on my J7+ Combo has broken. It seems like an easy fix and I've had it 2 years; so I wasn't expecting a warranty to cover anything. I was told they don't sell a part separately and I would have to pay 350.00 to send it in for repair. That is half of the price paid for it. FOR A SMALL HINGE! Don't waste your money!
I want to buy my son one of the irobot roomba's for Christmas but cannot decide. I do not want to spend a lot of money since he only lives in an apartment. Which one do you recommend for a lower priced one-- I do not need a mop feature on it.
@@JustADad I have been seeing so many irobot roomba models and I cannot find one that has great reviews so maybe I will go with one of these. Thank you.
I appreciate your channel! I just did a deep dive into robot vacuums for black Friday and considered the Eufy L60, but found the reviews on Eufy website had customers complaining about not being able to get replacement bags. Something to know. I ultimately went with the j5 straight from Roomba website, but only because it is the j7 (with a mop bin I won't use). Their website no longer sells the just the j7+. Also something to know.
Got a Roborock for 1k. It was trash. Always got clogged. So many features but as a vacuum it was terrible. It didn’t even auto empty when the dust bin was full. It just kept going. Terrible. Got a roomba J7+ on sale for $399 and it goes back to the base to self empty and then continues its job. Tried and true!
I was going to say the same thing. In fact, the i5s tech enables it to be just as efficient in cleaning as the js. It effectively works like the laser in a computer mouse@@JustADad
What makes me happy is that companies like Dreame or Roborock is out doing Roomba. It’s just a big middle finger to the first or one of the first robot vacuum companies.
Got the J7+ (not combo) for $350 on Black Friday from Best Buy. Loving it.
