Written and composed by Tongan Noble Tuivakano. Sad thing is he wrote this beautiful song “Sii Lile Viola Lose Hina” which mainly older generation Tongans know and it’s true meaning. Whereas Fijian version and meaning “Isa Lei” is known world wide. Tuivakano didn’t get the well deserved praise he should of for his creation. The officer who took it did. Unfortunately Tuivakano was still alive when the song grew through the South Pacific, else where and heard he was not named as the author.

I'm in two minds about having my name changed to the correct spelling because Isa Lei is just such a beautiful name, I have a deep connection to it and one day would love to visit Fiji to experience the song in person.
