Written and composed by Tongan Noble Tuivakano. Sad thing is he wrote this beautiful song “Sii Lile Viola Lose Hina” which mainly older generation Tongans know and it’s true meaning. Whereas Fijian version and meaning “Isa Lei” is known world wide. Tuivakano didn’t get the well deserved praise he should of for his creation. The officer who took it did. Unfortunately Tuivakano was still alive when the song grew through the South Pacific, else where and heard he was not named as the author.

My dad named me after this song, even though he spelt it wrong (Eazalie). I'm in two minds about having my name changed to the correct spelling because Isa Lei is just such a beautiful name, I have a deep connection to it and one day would love to visit Fiji to experience the song in person. I imagine I would be in floods of tears.
Fijians will have the upmost pleasure to sing you this song when you come to Fiji and I assure you that tears will run down your face thinking of returning someday, and certainly that was the same feeling that your father treasured whereby He named you after that song.

This tune was Originally created by Tuivakano, the original song is in tongan called "Ise isa viola lose hina" it was used in the Tonga Band Police Repertoire, later on Fiji adopted the Tune and created their own farewell song.
