Mean Look + Encore on Gengar is actually a pretty nasty combination for a gimmick. It would be way better with Nasty Plot and Shadow Ball but .......... hum, he tried to replicate Mega Gengar his own way and it worked so hum .... props to that I guess ?
This also works with Skill Swap with the ability Truant. You can switch into an Aren Trapper like Dugtrio and use protect whenever the opponent isn’t slacking off.
What bothers me is that homeslice just let his mandibuzz take the power up punch instead of switching, unless there's a clause or some shit I clearly don't know aboug

Don't say that because sooner or later some bastard will use one with Scarf and Zen Headbutt and get 20 flinches in a row. It's a proven fact that the RNG is rigged in favor of the player with the lowest score and dumbest team.

@@henriquepacheco7473 well thats cool but its a big tradeoff if youre switching between hydro pump and scald. The freeze rate is so low you probably wont even need it most games

for anyone wondering, the reason that they were frozen for so long is because you actually will never break out of a freeze if you aren't using attacking moves, using status moves will keep you frozen forever!

Love the vids bro, but just wondering why they all have such a high picture contract, almost like you set the video to HDR or something. Is there a rendering setting you can enable to make the contrast less harsh?
i use a color enhancement on all the showdown battles in my editing software, because i feel like showdown looks bland without it. on certain backgrounds it probably seems more jarring, so its typically random how extreme it seems

I once had someone get salty at me because their Marshadow missed a Rock Tomb on my Ho-Oh, letting Ho-Oh use Brave Bird and end the match. He was all "bruh i should have won" but I kept my cool. I said that I didn't expect it either, and the RNG screws us all over at some point. He responded with a simple "lol." I think I shut down the salt.

I kind of wish someone caught this happening on tape recently.
I was facing someone in doubles recently, and the only this person had were Shedinja, lopunny and Arcanine. I saw this team and I immediately thought " probably a gimmick team that I'm not prepared for that will end up kicking my ass because I have no way to counter it... I'm going to pretend to be a salty player. " so I started talking big as a joke, and sure enough, what I expected ended up happening. Arcanine got both Wonder guard and the???? Typing, and there was basically nothing I could do because my team didn't have any weather or toxic. I pretended to rage at him, but I quickly admitted that I kind of expected something and congratulated him for the clever gimmick team.
