Well they kinda are they're bringing these series back to their original routes, Godzilla a horrific political and science drama with metaphors for japans current crises, ultra man a lighthearted take on kaijus with the main character balancing his life with being a hero, and Kamen rider....tbh I know nothing about kamen rider 💀
I saw it at a local IMAX theater a few months ago and it was amazing!!! Im hoping for a sequal. And more Kaman Rider movie releases worldwide outside of Japan.

2.the movie was already a part of a film franchise and if another movie in that franchise would come it wouldn’t be kamen rider

I’m suprised no studio in Japan ever did a live action tokusatsu of Guyver other than the American version.
Despite it's shortcoming, we can actually picture kamen rider as a badass man riding a bike for a change again instead of power ranger that occasionally have a bike on the background or another attempt at making Kamen Rider Shin
The main problem is the new law of Japan prohibiting stunt riding bike in the public road. Now that they already of new studio (the one that is used to film King Ohger), we may see it more often. But it will be pure CG background like the one in The Mandalorian.

The movie was so good that the CGI shots on that movie were much better than the whole CGI MCU movie today.

What I love about old Kamen Rider is because the story are for more mature audience, the story is also dark, they have some gore, the hero is also more serious and more brutal, their belt and weapon props also looks believable. New generation is becoming a kid show, most of the hero is goofy, their belt and weapons looks like toys and alot of CGI.
That's why I like new Kamen Rider Amazons and Kamen Rider Black Sun. I hope they release more serious and mature Kamen Rider series for mature audience.

Yeah that series was a U.S. reimagining of Kamen Rider Black RX. I remember watching that V.R. Troopers and Super Human Samurai Syber Squad in the mornings, good times.

Shin Godzilla is its own slower unique thing, and Shin Ultraman was a slight letdown. So my expectations were lowered just enough for Shin Kamen Rider to do a flying kick right to my solar plexus and totally blow me away.
There were multiple moments that had me literally pumping my fist and going “YES!!”. I wish I’d seen it with a crowd. I’m surprised it’s reception was less enthusiastic than the others, because to me it’s basically perfect as both a standalone film and an adaptation of the original show.

Story was just aight and I disagreed with a lot of the directing choices like heavy shaky cam but as a long time KR fan its undeniable that seeing some of the scenes in this movie were just straight badasss
A bit rushed a bit editing mess, dont mind it as a series (because it felt liked it was shot that way).. its liked a 5-8 episodes stitch up together for one big movie.. On the plus size, its and adult version, they went on pg13... A lot of blood splattered that you usually dont see as a kid shows..
Now that's a SHOCKER (no pun intended) I'm surprised they put some blood & a little bit of gore in there.. first time seeing kamen rider with blood

I love Kamen Rider. But i want to follow the Shin Kamen rider 1971 on RUclips. I watched this movie at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam 🇳🇱 yesterday. I found it hard to follow the story because the film focused too much on the protagonist. Additionally, the fight scenes were disappointing, because the CGI looked very low-budget.
