Started jumping rope this year - at 54 years young. If I can do it, anyone can! This is great exercise - and I have a goal to give 50,000 jump ropes to youth across the US in 2018!

+Joe Abs That's awesome man, keep at it! How do you plan on getting the jump ropes to them?

    • @JoeAbs

Still in the planning phase, but am working on some sponsors to provide some of the ropes and will give other fitness lovers the chance to contribute a rope or two. Will be a national tour with the goal of giving away 1,000 jump ropes per state (along with info and education on good nutrition). Most likely through schools or after school programs, maybe gyms and 'bootcamp's. Are you interested?

Crossrope. Weighted ropes are the best. Used to be a big runner until discovered these a year ago. Along with weight training. You will be a beast.HIIT

I hate running and love to jump rope which conveniently works out better for me because I’ve found that I’ve burned more fat jumping rope.

I personally think doing both is best. I prefer running only because I find it more fun, not saying it's better exercise. When I run all the time my legs need a rest from running, or else i'll probably get injured. So that's when I hit up the jump rope, so I can keep doing my cardio as often as possible without getting a injury. Nice content.

I ♡ jumping rope! Especially in a a hiit (1 round cardio/1 strength move). Set my timer for 50/10 work to active recovery for 45 to 60 min and it flus by!

Hey Max, this is probably a stupid question, but what about fake jump roping? I know how to jump rope, but since I go to the gym, when I do the circuit training, there's no room for me to use an actual rope, so I fake jump rope.... would love your feedback on this.... thank you in advance 😊

Watching from here in the rowdy rowdy Pembroke Pines Florida baby trying to get lean my big fat 280 pound ass I got 130 pound little brother thinks he’s hot shit because you’ve been doing CrossFit all his life and he’s in great shape he wants me to run but I’m telling him I think I like the jump rope better I’m just wondering how long I should jump rope for? I see the movie tied trainers jump rope for about six minutes before they start their training so I was trying to do it for at least six minutes but maybe I should be going longer? Hit me back if you can bro

Thanks for the video. I am new at this. I can jump rope but not more then a few minutes at a time. I can do a total of 20 mintures together but not in one cycle. I would start then stop for a few seconds so my thoughts are am I still getting a good workout?

Not so much a brand, but a few elements you want to make sure your jump rope has are ball bearings & length options to suit your height! The one I'm using is a great speed rope, for fast/speed jump roping amzn.to/2yEcfuK

Look for PVC jump ropes and trap your self different weights. I do prefer cross rope because of their 2 year warranty but they are more expensive option.(does come with 2 different weights though) jump rope dudes and the Crossrope app is pretty good steadying point
