1) DNS Records - A and Cname records for your domain and www subdomain

Exactly!! I didn’t even have ‘automatic’ words on my page, it was so frustrating before finding this video. 🥺 I use google domain instead godaddy but this video is still useful. 🫱🏼🫲🏽 I just don’t understand why I keep having ‘needs attention’ notification although my domain is already connected. 😵💫

I messed up as I don’t remember using connect existing domain but I changed the dns A record and CName replacing with Shopify record ! Can I verify by again clicking on connect existing domain

Hey man, thanks for the tutorial! Only thing is, it does say "linked" on my Shopify, but it keeps saying "SSL is pending".. How do i fix this?
usually this takes a little time. sometimes within miniutes and i've seen as much as 30 hours. if it takes more than 1 day, you should contact shopify support.

shopify is showing this error please help:
your domain has no nameserver record
All you need to do is clear browsing history or open another tab in order for dns to take effect. great video though. shopify does it allow back end server access? Or you don't need SSH and to access the server with shopify?
shopify is full hosted and closed system so you will not get ssh access , only access to shopify backend.
Hey astral great vid. If i have originally bought a domain on shopify how am i able to use the same domain for an email address because im looking to remove the domain from the shopify website but still keep it existing for email use. thx
for email addresses you will need an email provider or an email server. the easiest simplest way is to pay for a service (for example google apps) to get email addresses and be able to send and receive.

I have configured the A & CNAME record on godaddy but when I try to verify it in shopify it says that the values are empty. How to resolve it?

I created a site on GD and have a 3rd party domain. Can i use the GD website with shopify ecomm? So that when people visit they see the GD site but shop through shopify

@@Astralwebincloves so I have created a website through GoDaddy. But have since relised that the ecomm isnt quite good enough for minimum orders and a few other things.
Wondering if i can still use the site i made but with the shopify shopping section.
@@jaywalk7250 yes you can use your website as the www. version and make the shopify store as store. your domain and link to each other.
My shopify says in order to link the domain they need to delete aa and aaaa records should i continue?
Probably yes but you need to check what is there and make sure that you don’t need it first before you proceed
@@Astralwebincloves I just changed all the a records to the right record and I deleted all Aaaa records and now it says it’s just the a records that are wrong. What could be the issue?

I have another issue in the domain, when I want to get a subdomain I couldn't find “manage” that should appear beside the primary domain. It says not available “N/A” I tried to remove the domain and reconnect it but nothing has changed.

How to connect Zoho DNS to Shopify?
I have my domain currently hosted thru Hostinger. Do I follow these steps to transfer domain to Shopify?
Yes the steps apply to any domain registrar. Note that you are actually not transferring but telling dns which servers to use

if its a new domain might need to take 60 days but usually you dont have to wait so long
