My tongue is always a big trouble for me. When I was converted, the first thing that was taken away was my cursing and I don't have the appetite to curse anymore and I thank God for that. Another thing I learned was, to never make decision when angry and don't make any promises when happy. Decision that was made when angry was always incorrect. I had just watch this video so I was reminded of my old self. But I still make jokes with others and sometimes retaliate when there's mountain in my heart that was touched. But I really want to surrender these issues to Jesus for I know it won't do any good for me.

I do have to behave sometimes with my tongue - the very razor. Sometimes people invite to cut them, and when you start, you hardly can stop. Sometimes you do it to be taking seriously. The temptations are always around. Always educating to watch and re-watch your videos. I can't wait for your wife to join in your videos! This one has truly been a difficult one for me. I believe I am called to be a missionary, but having worked in the oilpatch, construction jobs, and now working at youth correctional with sexually intrusive boys. Brothers and sisters, please keep me in your prayers, as I struggle daily with my tongue. Before I was saved, I was a very angry person and I said things that were awful. To this day, I struggle to this to a certain degree. I hate it so much. I only want to use my tongue to uplift people and to be kind to others, and most important to glorify God! I get so discouraged when I fail in this area...

A sermom I watched the other night was saying we'll still go to Hell if we're tempted to be mean or any of the other examples, we have to legitimately change our hearts. I feel like even if that's Biblical, we need to first try it ourselves and past His test, and then the Lord will bless us with a change of heart. No Christian goes to Heaven untested.

James was my Grandmother's favourite book. I feel like my issues with the tongue also are most difficult from a teacher's standpoint. I don't really teach to a large crowd. If I meet a new person, the first thought is always, "wonder if this is a Christian person", then if I find the answer is no, I want to try to teach in one way or another.. This is where I have to be careful.
Wow scary stuff here. I taught many things through scriptures and would worry at times when i second guess myself of being correct or not. I'm really gonna have to think twice about teaching now... if it's not too late

I don't like to not say anything when it's so obvious they're wrong and giving me or even others a hard time. I really have to let God lead in who I even to respond to, so I won't say something that God doesn't want said.

I think it’s just anxiety that makes me talk because I can’t sit in silence. I feel people think I’m being rude if I don’t say something. So I usually just break the ice by making them comfortable and talk. “A fool uttereth all his mind, but a wise man keepeth it in til afterward” -Proverbs 29:11 I don’t want to be a foolish man. I never really ask for prayer especially here on RUclips but I need help. Please pray for me that I can control this tongue and my thoughts.
