That thing you said you’d no idea what it was, was a gas cooker. 1930s or 1940s. We had one similar when I was wee. The gas rings are missing. Ours was grey speckled.

Beautiful property! I loved the stonework on the buildings! The interior was sooo very decayed! I’m sure that it was easier & cheaper to bring in a trailer home rather than fix up these places!!! Not many salvageable items left behind, but I wish that someone could save the piano!!!😞 The main house was payed out strangely! Plenty of bedrooms upstairs! Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with us Alec❤️

The smell will be coming from the 'maggot oil' tin, if you have ever used it, you will know what I mean. We could smell that stuff fields away from where it was used. It may have been left open originally as a deterrent to people going into the house.
That is such an iconic style of Scottish Farmhouse, set in a really beautiful area. Again, sad to see it in its abandoned state. The land around it looks ideal. Thanks Alec, pop up a sold sign for me ; )

🍃Beautiful farm land and I love these old stone farm houses. Looks abandoned for a while, but the creep factor is quite high. Who the heck has been there?
Looks like the sheep owners has family members or guest living in the new trailer, which looks out of place. Why build in the middle of nowhere? Maybe these people just found out they inherited the property. Who knows, all I know is that it's definitely time to leave.
