Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas and knowledge. You are such a inspiration ✨️ 💖 each viewing I feel energized and excited to start my own project.
Just some random thoughts. If you like having creative videos playing in the background, I'll recommend Marion's World if you haven't already stumbled across her. Her types of creative endeavors don't overlap yours much. But she has a good creative heart from an aesthetic I really relate to and admire. The goal to reuse and repurpose is shared by you both You mentioned your creative group 'aging creatively and gracefully'. Great idea and I can only imagine how supportive it feels. My mind flashed to a few creative people I've found (solid artists, actually) who are fairly young. It hurts my heart a little as I see them struggle with self doubt. Some of that is a factor of age and experience with life. I imagine that the somewhat solitary existence of many creative souls factors into it. But I flashed on opportunities for the gracefully aging folks to stand as support and models for younger creatives. Not in terms of helping in their craft/art. But in terms of being at peace with one's own work and not being caught up in feelings of inadequacy. I'm not suggesting you guys should take on this mission. :-). I just want to throw this concept out into the ether for us all to consider. I am such a different person - in terms of how I view my own work - in my 70th decade as I was in my 30th one. I like this version so much better!
@@maegpye - thanks so much for your feedback! I am also in my 7th decade and I think I have more confidence and opportunities now than I did when I was younger, although I always knew I wanted to be my own unique self. I live in an isolated place geographically and the internet has been such a great tool to sell and showcase my work, host exhibitions, teach workshops etc. I’ve been online since the 1990’s … just to let you know also that I don’t run the aging creatively group; I’m just a member and enjoying the ride! I like to think of myself as a time traveller rather than someone who is aging however 😉🙃 Oh, almost forgot - yes I’ve been following Marion for a while; love her work. I’ve mentioned her in previous video/s also.
Another lovely video, which I greatly enjoyed. I wonder if the sewing machine needles you use for paper and cardboard are different from the ones used for fabric?
Thank you for sharing ❤ love your art. Like your suggestion of using cork to protect sharp ends of tools.
This piece is out of this world.
FANTASTIC ❤️❤️
Thanks so much! 😊😊
