Thank you for showing your process with such clear explanations! I tried to figure out rock wrapping on my own and failed. This video gives me the confidence to try again.
@@julieparker6038 Thanks as always Julie. There is something really primally satisfying about each one when you make them. I’ll probably always look for rocks to make into these now lol 😂
There were lots of awesome makes here Alana… just incredible what can be done with a rock and a piece of string… and a very creative mind of course!! I would be worried that they’d unravel on me… I know you said you used glue on a couple, but most often the string wasn’t secured at all, except for being tucked under itself!?! I’ve had a plan to paint some kindness rocks as soon as I have a craft room again… I was gonna leave them hidden at a local park… wouldn’t it be awesome if I did some wrapping on some too?!? 😁 Thanks, as always, Alana, for sharing your incredible talent with us… I truly appreciate you! 🤗 🤗 Oodles of love from Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
@@mattersofthehartbynat8815 I did end up putting dabs of PVA glue on after they were finished for peace of mind because mine will likely be handled a lot. I love kindness rocks and saw some scattered around a beach park once, Great idea! I’m excited for your craft room and what you will do in it. Have an amazing day ❤️❤️❤️Alana
I absolutely LOVE these and will be giving them a go. I love to felt rocks so these will be a great addition to the bowl. Thank you sho much for this tutorial it looks doable for me.
I love the natural materials. You have such busy, clever fingers!!🪷💐🪷 Isn't Whites Bay beautiful? My son spears butterfish there. Rarangi is spectacular when the ice plants on the beach are in flower like multi coloured axminster carpet for miles.
These look great.
