is that correct that with ANC off the its sound is more flat? I have this for 3 days and just downloaded the app, and realised my ANC was on since I have it. It is a little bit disappointing for me to I need to "boost" my headphone. thanks

how about the quality in video editing?
3 months of use on a daily noisy public commute and they block all the crap out without cranking the volume to uncomfortable levels. Very nice all the way around.
Is it made with good and Flexible diadema?
@@manudinotodj in my opinión the crown band is as flexible as it should be without losing stability. Could be a little more padded though on the band for my taste, that's my only negative
Thanks for the Nice review! The reviewers seem to disagree. Some say it sounds awesome, others complain about bass excess.
What are your thoughts about the bass, is it too much? Does it muffle the mids and trebble? And if so, Can you dial it down on EQ settings to get a more balanced experience?
Have you tried de Audio Technicas, specifically the ATH-M40x and the ATH-M50x? How they compare to the JBL??

These are my go to headphones and sound great IMO. I'm even charging them right now while I type in time for my next plane journey 😀
I have had these headphones for 3 months now and I love them, you can definitely enjoy your high quality music. The ANC is not that great though, I think they cancel out slightly noises around, but you can still hear them.
Some noise gets through but the difference is dramatic. I've been testing so much all this week and they saved my ears on London Underground today! Like you say - great headphones! 😄
anc was designed to work on airplanes. thats the optimal environment for them. tuned to that. so anc anywhere else not so good. another envy that would work is an engine room or any space with low humming or static sounds. just tuning of the chip

@@GaryStockton Yeah outside of all the issues I had they do sound good when it works. When I play music with it on Bluetooth without noise canceling then the high pitch sound goes away and it's clear. They sound really good.
Hello i have a problem with the headphone and replaced it here for but it already is on the new one to it is the foam on the back of the cup it cracks

The Beats are definitely not very good (for both sound quality AND notoriously horrendous for noise canceling), so I'm glad you got a new pair of ANC headphones! That being said, they are not as good as the Bose QC 35ii and the Sony WH1000XM3. Though for the on-sale price, they are very good and definitely worth it! BUT, for the original $200+ price tag, I would rather spend the extra $100 (or $70 if on sale) and get the Bose or the Sony. The Sonys are even on sale too ($80 off). The Bose go on sale occasionally too!
I used them for a long while. They served me well. These are for sure an upgrade and I love it!

Hi Ronald, I don't think this is normal.
I just got mine a month ago I charge using my laptop now whenever I use it and the battery gets to 70% it turns off by itself.
System error I think?
@@guiamargate2390 I found that there so much tech on it so the system fails, I got a new one and it's been working for 4 months now. (My third JBL headphone )
Try a firmware update using the JBL Connect app to make sure firmware is not the problem

These are definitely better. Sony ones are way too overrated.

They'll help you listen at a lower volume for longer which is better for your hearing in the long term. Sure!

Way better then BOSE which sound flat and lifeless with a hyper focus on the upper mids (vocal range) I'll tell you these JBLs have a better overall sound for less than half the price. Theres no question its the better deal.

If u r uncomfortable....then u can buy "GEEKRIA EARFOAMS/EARPADS"to extend the size of the hole where ears fit.
Sounds lot better without ANC.
The ANC tightens the soundspace, cuts the low bass and highs, gives a hiss noise and drains the battery.
Thanks for the feedback. I think ANC is good for street walks, trains and planes. Keep it off at home or when relaxing to music.

Is there any latency while watching videos?, the bluetooth version is 4.1 so I am a bit worried

I got my par for Black Friday and there is a slight hiss when ANC is turned on while not playing music but not to the point where it bothers me personally . I have no latency while using them via Bluetooth. The ANC works really nice I can’t hear anything when I’m in the passenger seat on the freeway I wanted to test em out and all you hear is the music truly amazing for the price in my opinion 👌🏽

I really like these a lot and have been using them for a few weeks to listen to podcasts. I notice a very little hiss with ANC on but not enouth to disturb. When I'm on a plane (which is where I'll use these the most) this will be least of my concern 😀

Is the noise canceling good enough to "cancel" the neighbor's loud ass speakers. So gosh darn tired of them putting their music through speakers with the door open.
In all seriousness it might be worth having a word with your neighbour if it annoys you that much?
@@MikeRussell that's a very good idea. The only problem is that it switches between neighbors and it is usually because of a birthday party or a wedding party. So it might be annoying to get neighbors telling you to quiet down when you're celebrating. One of them though, is constantly loud, but we aren't on good terms with them since they don't really give a shit and get louder on purpose.
So these headphones, if they're good at noise canceling, might give me a bit of mental peace while studying (which is what I do most of my time..💀🥲).

I've had nothing but bad experiences with JBL. Got a pair for Christmas 2018, they creaked, got them replaced. 2nd pair had a broken button, got them replaced. 3rd pair creaked a crap-ton worse, got a free upgrade. 4th pair were good for awhile until the left speaker started blasting static in my ear when ANC or ambient aware was on (likely loose wiring), got them replaced. 5th pair, they said no more replacements. I said dinner, because I'm sick of this bull. Even worse static after, like, 2 months tops. Decided, "Fuck it, switching back to ONLY Skullcandy Hesh 2." I've had this for over 4 years now, and those the rubber is worn and pealing off the pads and they're round instead of ear-shaped, they sound just as good as new!
Last week (a few months after I stopped using the JBLs), my mom suggested I write to the ceo. I had no idea how, so I just did the same as I did for each replacement and lodged a complaint through the website, expecting nothing more than, "Were sorry, blah blah blah, fuck you, life's a bitch." Though I expected nothing in return, I went into painful detail about all my problems, my "complaint" probably ending up longer than this comment. And though I let'em have it, I was sure to emphasize just how great the ANC and Ambient Aware technology was *when it worked.* Again, not looking for any kind of compensation or anything. Just, "Sorry, fuck you."
AND THEN THE OPPOSITE HAPPENED!
They got back to me offering the model in this video! FREE! 😂😂😂😂😂
I won't be surprised if they have the same problems as my last 2 pairs, especially after reading two 1-2½⭐ reviews with the same problems. Though, these 2 were out of a hundred 4-5⭐ reviews, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

At completely random times, for no discernable reason, they'll turn themselves down and the buttons stop responding. Even worse, I'll be watching RUclips videos, and they go back to the previous video as if I held the vol-/⏮️ button! So I do the factory reset (hold vol+&vol- until they reboot) and turn them off. It takes time, but they EVENTUALLY fix themselves.

@@sunilnaiksn Personally, I'd recommend Skullcandy. Great budget headphones! Though, the only ANC model they make has a real bad creaking problem... But if ANC isn't a priority, you can get a really good pair for less than $100!

Just discovered a fresh new problem!
IDK how or why, possibly high humidity, but while watching RUclips, the ANC started switching on and off like a toddler playing with a button. Just constant beeping, *boo-beep! bee-boop... boo-beep! bee-boop... boo-beep! bee-boop... * over and over! I reset then, but they kept doing it, so I'm hoping they'll fix themselves by tomorrow.
