I just bought these today at Aldi for A$80. I couldn’t make heads or tails, much less read, the tiny and feint writing in the instructions. I was encouraged to see that many others had the same issue. Thank you so much for the very clear tutorial.

The manual that came with the phones were microscopic. Good explanation, couldn't even find a manual on the JBL website!

Is the live 650 btnc a good headphone?
@@UNKNOWN_AA_ So for my needs they are perfectly sufficient. I was looking for wireless over-ear headphones, which can also be used alternatively via AUX cable. These functions are fulfilled by the headphones and the battery has a long shelf life until the next recharge. I think that's good too. Apart from that I generally don't have high demands on sound quality or similar. But in my opinion it is also very good.

I’m using the JBL App on my iPhone X. I’ve updated the firmware & now no more disconnecting! Great headphones for price! 👍🏻
I love how the video is 6 minutes and 60 seconds which is 6:50 and the name of the headset is live 650🤣👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻
I just overpaid a little for these in the airport, mostly due to Canadian taxes. I could have saved a few $ or more if I had the sense to buy these while still at home in the USA. But, I got instant service and ability to compare to other headphones and get this quickly set up to work on my IPhone as I was in a rush to catch a plane. Barely got er done. And I then had the great pleasure of having a very useful amount of noise reduction(that fit OVER my Earplane pressure reducing ear plugs) and pretty high quality music for many hours of flight time 1st from Montreal to La Guardia, and then from there to Birmingham. So, I feel like that was worth a few bucks, at least I am telling myself that. ;) Your video is the best I have found for detailing how to use each feature, particularly with the IPhone. Very helpful! Thank you!
The entire manual was all in Chinese and hieroglyphs.

I just bought mine 30 to 45 minutes ago, it didn't come with a instruction manual I felt that was normal but I guess not

For the ANC function I would just have to hold it for a few seconds for it to turn on and off.
Just got these on sale for $99! Was very excited until I tried to figure out how to USE them haha! I thought the power button was broken since it would not 'stay up'. I grabbed the printed manual and was utterly disgusted. I immediately came on RUclips (of course) and you video saved me! Thanks a bunch.
Agree the instructions could not be read even if 20/20 vision. I had to come to youtube as well. The features say they have a built in microphone but I am not convinced as I did a test call in our RV and you can still hear I am in a vehicle.
@@shellyclinton7084 The "Manual" that came in the box are, by far, the worst I've ever encountered. The JBL youtube vids don't help much. Thanks for giving insight into the bottons that AREN't volume or next or past song...like how to turn off the ANC.

I have a question Jabra elite 85 are on sale $199 at Best Buy. I literally just ordered the JBL - LIVE 650BTNC the day before for $199... so I am wondering what is a better buy???
I just bought these headphones, the volume up and down buttons work as I factory reset the headphones, but they won’t skip tracks or turn music up or down, and I also can’t pause or play music with my middle button. Can I fix this and if so how?
How do I stop the beeping noise on the headphones. The noise canceling goes on and off and there is a tone or beeping noise. Thanks Jerry in Arizona
Hello my jbl 650 btnc makes a squeaky sound after the cups if i push first on the low top of the cup and then on the high top of the cup there is a squeaky sound does this disappear after a while?

I just wanted to know when i try to record a song on an app and use these headphones as monitor lot of delay/latency im facing can you guide how to fix it , ive tried it both ways while bluetooth on it cant be used as monitors to hear ur voice but when tried as wired i can use them as monitor but with lot of delay and latency so its verr annoying, kindly help to sort this issue

The first day since I bought, the stencil came out, does that happen with yours?
So my left ear piece crackles and it only does it when in NC mode. Ive tried many factory resets already. Cant find a trouble shoot vid to repair.
ANC button seems to mostly affect the EQ. With it on, it's all bass, with it off it's all treble. I assume it actually does cancel noise when it's on, but why does it change the EQ!?

Frustrating when you use it to exercise and it pauses every 5 seconds...
Do the headphones charge when the aux cable is connected?
I love these headphones but can't find the answer to one question. I do not want to use alexa or google with the head phones. If you touch the left headphone it tells you "the google assistant is not connected" IS there anyway to turn off the left headphone so it does not give you the message if you accidentally touch it? hearing that message every time I adjust the head[hones is annoying.

When I am laying down the left side will go into Alexa mode if I move around. Can I turn the left side feature off?
Is there any way to turn on ANC while you're connected with the headphones by the audio cable instead of Bluetooth? The headphone turnes off when being connected with a cable so you can't activate ANC through the my JBL headphones app nor pressing the ANC button on them aswell
Press and hold the ANC button. It is not a single press, I was confused about the same.

My headphones just wont react when i hold the action button. Normally you would just talk and it would answer but in my case it wont react at all. Its all connected and it does work on my phone and nothings wrong with my mic.

It doesn’t sound live that’s impossible, live is just the name of the series of headphones. they’re regular noice cancel headphones

Jose Madrazo yeah on the right side of your headphones next to the Bluetooth button there’s this button an when you press it, it should make everything louder again just wait a few seconds, try it when listening to music

I struggled with the same issue myself with these headphones - ended up getting a headset with a microphone boom, which works a lot better for phone calls.

@@Rahulxplod1 bro 9months later still going strong… really nice bass… jbl app also works great, obviously no ANC in live 500, so if u really need ANC then go with 650 otherwise 500.
@@sm_hassan that helps a lot bro, I think ANC only helps if we want to hear all fine sounds in a song right, it wont help that much for phone calls. 500 has the ambient aware and talk thru feature which is missing in 650 BT. How is the ambient and talkthru feature working in 500BT based on your experience?

ANC is turned on by default, to turn it off press and hold the ANC button on the right side and do the same again if you want it on again. For bluetooth, swipe up the button that's located on the back side of the right cup and turn on bluetooth on your mobile. Pair the devices and start using. Hope that helps.
