If you listen to music/podcasts/videos/ or literally anything in your bed, DON'T BUY THESE! If the lights are off in your room, the blue power LED on these is extremely bright and annoying. Of course you can remedy this with a piece of tape or some black nail polish, so not to big of a deal. The main annoying thing is the auto pause feature. You bump these wrong, or try to get comfy with a pillow, and your media will pause. I bought these to use on an airplane, and was getting frustrated with this feature as I like to lean up on the window side. They are comfy, but would never pay more than $100 for them. TBH, if you couldn't connect to more than one bt device, I would say these are $70 headphones. For $200, if they came with lambskin ear cups, a hard case, and you could turn off the autopause, then maybe that price would be worth it. They do have noise canceling, and JBL did a great job on the aesthetics in this design, so they are very clean & professional looking. One gripe would be button placement, perhaps a downfall of making them look pretty, but it is not the easiest to find the vol + - and pause buttons. IMO these buttons should be the most pronounced/easiest to find by feel, instead, they made the power on slide button the most pronounced for some reason. They are still good, they just could be so much better!

Haven't heard the Anker so I really can't say. I have a buddy with the JBLs though and he likes them a lot.

I would say these only because I haven’t seen the tunes, but these seem very solid by many reviewers, especially for the price point
JBL660 NC Headphones are as good as headphones costing over $300. I have tried most of the more expensive brands, some in the $300-$600 range. The sound quality of JBL is fantastic and sounds better than some much more expensive cans. JBL is wonderful for ambient, atmospheric, oldies, classic rock, soft rock, Motown, and classical music. If you love heavy base, they are average. The noise cancelling is great. They are comfortable to wear . The construction is high quality. They work great with JBL and Bose speakers and Bluetooth devices. They are great for travel. If you want to save money, buy these. You won't be disappointed.

I got the 660nc but it came in size medium so be alert. These might fit a 10yr old ears. Very small ear cup
How do this compare to the 650? I didn't get those because reviewers and some regular people that made videos about it all said that the ANC ruined the sound.

My impression of it was that ANC was relatively in check. Will it ruin your music? No. Will you notice it though? Yes. It is still a tier below the the level of products like Bose, or Sony. I do like them for the price though.

I got my pair today, I’m facing a problem though.. whenever I use the wire instead of Bluetooth all the buttons on the headphones ceases to work.. does anyone know why?

It's less of a concern than it was years ago, but it will show imperfections a bit more than the black.
I just got these. A couple of important things I've found, the app does not work with Samsung phones right now for some reason. Also, the auto pause feature is super annoying. It pauses all the time for no reason.

The JBL Live 660NC headphones are 5.0 Bluetooth. My computer is 4.2. Do I need to install a 5.0 adapter? Are there any specific requirements to connect to an iPhone 12? JBL's customer service is another country, hard to understand. The overall setup is to complicated, vague instructions. I am probably returning them to JBL Thanks.
No, later versions of bluetooth are backwards compatible. iPhones are generally among the easiest devices to connect to. Start with your bluetooth settings open and hold down the bluetooth button on the bottom of the earcup on the headphone to put it into pairing mode. You should see its name appear in your iPhone's devices list, then just tap on the name and it should work.

@@GramophoneMD I AM RETURNING THE HEADPHONES TO JBL. I could not raise the volume when using them as wired. I couldn't get the headphones to pair. The JBL startup guide has too many pictures and not enough explanation by text.

I find that most Headphones are way overpriced.
But compared in this price range, these to me have better sound and comfort than the competition.

Another paid review. I have these and they're not as good as you say. I got them for discounted price and thank God for that. For under a 100$ they're ok but nothing to write home about. Just cut the hype (and crap).
JBL makes a lot of stuff, not all of them are always a grand slam but they are consistent and reliable, and they deserve credit for that. Many things that otherwise sounded really good or at least they should have came across my desk but they were just "broken" as in unreliable, poorly configured, and frustrating to use, and I cannot recommend them. With these I know my customer is going to open them, and they are going to work.
