im wearing them rn and i think theyre a great budget headphone. i love the look, the noise canceling feature is good and it has long lasting battery life. its not extremelyyy comfortable though, definitely do not wear these 24/7, not sure if its because of the size of the ear cups or if its just tight. i love these headphones, everyone should get them, but if youre looking for comfort and youre willing to invest more money into your headphones, there might be better ones for that:))
Most headphones are not comfortable to wear for over an hour. To preserve hearing, it is recommended not to listen through headphones more than 2 hours straight. And, not to exceed 70 Decibels. Most speakers and headphones sound best at 70-75 Decibels.
Great review. I've just ordered a pair for my son. BTW, you've forgot to mention, that you might want to use cable instead of BT when you want higher sound quality (which might be the most important reason to do so) :)
The one problem I've had with these headphones is when you are listening at high volumes, if they aren't sealed to your ear it sounds like the speakers are blown. First time I heard it I thought I wrecked them but it had just slipped off my ear a bit.
I love my JBL headphones 🎧. They do indeed work across many music genres with great definition in the midrange and bass. I’m not convinced that the noise cancellation function on the mic is that great if you’re using them to field mobile phone calls - the people I tried speaking to were getting distracted by all the background noise when I was out in public
Thanks for this. I use ANC to cancel out the Stuupid loud noise from industrial machinery where i work. So this function would help, but i am more concerned with how well it blocks out loud noises while listening to musik :)
I actually found them not too impressive , they’re good and I find them very comfortable but going from the Jbl 510bt to this I don’t think the price difference is justified (unless you really need the extra battery life and added specs ) , I found the jbl 510bt to be a bit better on the base , and personally I don’t like the ANC , it doesn’t really take away background noise but makes it a bit higher pitched and emptier, a little bit like a very distant windy sound . , and I’m not sure I will use it , because I simply don’t like the feel but the headphones do a really good of blocking out noise just by the good fit on the ears , I would say buy these if you really want the extra battery life , want to try out ANC, or need a headphone jack , otherwise sound wise you will make a better bargain buying the jbl 510bt I would describe the sound difference as the tune 660 to be a bit brighter and cleaner but the tune 510 to sound warmer and cosier, so it really depends on your preferences I guess !
Did anybody with glasses find the on ear design uncomfortable when wearing them for 2+ hours? Also were your ears warm and sweaty after wearing them 2+ hours? Any feedback is appreciated
On ear headphones + glasses is often a bit uncomfortable sadly. Some big, cushioned over ear headphones may be better suited for you. If you want some good quality bluetooth over ear headphones around the $100 price range I'd recommend the Strauss & Wagner ANCBT501 (our review: bit.ly/2UTgHDB ) or Audio-Technica ATH-ANC500BT (our review: bit.ly/2UmBqQ9 )
