I would personally appreciate seeing more reviews like this one. I love videos about high-end headphones, but let's be honest, it is usually much more useful and practical to see, if something like these JBLs is any good than to check if a new 3000-dollar planar is 9.5 or 10/10. I can not speak for eveyone, but I think something like 1 review of affordable headphones (or TWS) every 5 or 6 videos would be great.

I feel like one thing that should be pointed out when comparing wired and wireless headphones is that wireless headphones aren't designed to have easily replaceable batteries, so generally speaking they have an expiration date because all batteries die. Wired headphones don't have that problem and can essentially last forever if you take care of them, minus pad changes and maybe cable changes if that gets worn out.
If you really want a wireless headphone then, getting a cheaper one makes a certain amount of sense since it's easier to replace. This at least is cheaper than most of the low end bluetooth dongles like a BTR5 or a Qudelix 5K. The bluetooth dongle would allow you to use much better sounding (and more expensive) headphones on the go, but you have to deal with a wire and replacing the dongle when its battery expires. So if you don't mind the drop in sound quality and want no wires, this becomes pretty compelling. If you don't mind a wire and have a headphone (or IEM!) that's easy to drive, you might be better off with just that and an Apple dongle or another non-bluetooth dongle though, since it's going to last so much longer.

This is one of the major reason I don't want to buy BT headphones for portable use. As an audiophhile, not only I want an investment last longer, but also sound great. I wish the headphone is as compact, premium and comfortable as B&O PX8, but also sound as good as focal celestee, wired and balanced connection if necessary, without BT, ANC. Previous oppo PM3, Beoplay H6 are all good ones. But today, it is extremely hard to find. Dan Clark Aeon Noire, Audio technica wp900 are good examples, but that's pretty much it. The second reason is in the same price bracket, IEMs almost can't compete to full size headphones in terms of sound. Tried various IEMs, they sound good, but to have equal sound quality to over ears, it is way too expensive. For example, you have to spend end top dollar (usually above 2k) to get sound quality as good as 1k dollar headphones. The other reason is BT have transmission limitations. Yes, it is small, but still audible compare to wired.

Most likely. Most by -hones rely on their integrated dac and amp which may or may not be that good. Possibly barring the thx panda, using them wired tend to improve the signal for the most part because it bypasses the internal circuitry and relies on your external amp and dac setup. The exceptions I’ve encountered are the q35 and the pandas (mostly). The q35 sounds much better wirelessly and the pandas are engineered to sound the same wires or wirelessly. I do however pick up a slight difference even when running off a thx aaa amp
