I was on a Pastoral council in my Parish, I DON'T like this scenario of having lay people in a Conclave, this is turning into a democracy which Christ did not set up

Thank you Sir Robert and Father Murray for a very informative. and enlightening analysis on the distorted changes of our Catholic Faith by pope bergolio 0:36
God Bless - I'm really getting tired of all this confusion, etc. With God's help, I pray that we will be worthy Church Militants and stand behind Jesus and His Church.
At 12:21, Father says something that grabbed my attention. He says that the Conclave voting in the Sistine Chapel and people all over the world (Catholic and non-Catholic) awaiting the white smoke, is "viewed as something sacred even beyond the Church". When I heard this I was struck with what I see as another example of the core to all of this from Bergoglio and the modernists. That is, taking away the sacred and replacing it with modernist, liberation theology. In order to accomplish the goal of completely tearing down the Church to rebuild it in their image of what they believe it should be, it is necessary for them to destroy the sacred.
If that is the case, be prepared to see the Catholic altar be completely changed and everything removed, with a gay pride flag replacing the Crucifix. Think I'll convert to Orthodox.
In Italy we say: È mato ! (He is crazy) ...and nobody listen to him anymore. Only American Catholics are still talking about the mercyful white elephan in the room 😂😂😂🎉

Well, with the last conclave we got Jorge Bergoglio, so the process is broken already. Still, the changes being bruited about promise to worsen the process - can you imagine a Pope worse than the present?
@@CatholicChickAZ Well, Bergoglio HAS stacked the College of Cardinals with an all time high number of Jesuits and Gregorian graduate allies. Hopefully, the Third World cardinals from the margins will save us from the Lavendar Mafia's choice.
Cardinal Müller recently stated, “To teach contrary to the apostolic faith would automatically deprive the pope of his office…" If we accept this as a true statement, and if a (supposed) pope teaches a clear heresy, then by the laws of reason we must conclude that that pope has automatically been deprived of office (assuming he ever had it). But the question is, does reason alone have any authoritive bearing on this matter? If we assume (as we must) that the laws of reason correctly employed do indeed result in truth, can we come to truth by way of reason in this matter and yet not hold that truth to be authoritative? Christ commanded us to love God with our whole mind. The mind is the seat of reason. When proper use of reason concludes the truth, we must regard that truth as binding. Otherwise we would find ourselves in the position of acknowledging truth intellectually but not substantially. In other words we would be making ourselves hypocrites. And surely Christ does not want this. Christ commanded us to love God with our whole mind. That means using our reason in important matters like this one. We must recognize truth as setting us free to act according to the truth. Jesus said, "Know ye these things? Blessed are you if you do them." Bergoglio has stated that the death penalty is never permissible. This is clear heresy. St Catherine of Siena, though a layperson, is well known for her role in opposing an antipope. We should take her as an example for ourselves.
If it cannot be declared heretical, he's doing a pretty good job getting very close to the edge without falling over. He obviously has some very clever people working with him on just how far he can push these changes and threats.
Why should Theology only be limited to seminaries and universities? What should the Church be doing to to continue their Faith journey after the Sacrament of Confirmation? Theology made available and taught at a more practical level? Theology (Theos and Logos) to be more about charity and love.
Ahead of the Synod on Synodality, there was so much speculation, the popular media expected immediate answers. Not how the Church through the Holy Spirit works. The marginal, yet vocal voices, remained marginal and the Catholic Faith has not changed. The same argument applies to the “sensational” hearsay of the College of Cardinals and the Conclave.

The Vatican has announced that the mechanisms, institutional and theoretical, are being inserted into the institution's functioning that will lead to the termination, ending, rejection, elimination of what is called the traditional belief and worship of the ages (being that "ages" are no longer determinant of the institution). The historical continuation will only be that of the institution (e.g, church buildings) s it eternal changes. Some years ago Dr. Taylor Marshal speculated that the pope and his minions would make the spiritual life of the traditionalists so unpleasant, so unbearable, that they prefer to attend the SPPX and, once that massively takes place, declare the SPPX to be schismatic and, hence, outside of the Church. Voilà, the "different church" is freed of all irritant,s viz., "heretics", to apply a traditionalist term. The paradox of paradoxes is that the key-bearing successor of Peter, possessor of the Keys, will be the driving factor in destroying the Catholic Church the Jesu commissioned, of course in order to commission a "different" one. The traditional method of electing the Bishop of Rome raises an interesting question. The parochial clergy of Rome, by Tradition, elect their Bishop. Every Cardinal is the parish priest of a Roman Church. Now, if this is the Tradition, why is it only the clergy of the “titular” parishes (the Cardinals) who elect the Pope? Why don’t all of the clergy of Rome participate in electing their Bishop? Why don’t the parochial clergy of every Diocese elect their Bishop? The parochial clergy are the “presbyters” referred to in the New Testament. It is these “presbyters” (elders) who should elect their Bishop (overseer). Did the Apostles ever intend that the leadership of the Church should be chosen by a small closed group of men not in any way answerable to the flock they shepherd?
Maybe they should campaign and every Catholic be given a voting pass. That would be fun. Only problem is...how would they define a 'Catholic' in that case. (btw: the Pope appoints Bishops, not the Diocese. Bishops nominate Priests.)
@@sleepinglioness5754The suggestion that the Faithful should participate in the appointment of their Bishop is not a new one. Antonio Rosmini, in his book “The Five Wounds of the Church” sets out the difficulties which arise when the Faithful are excluded from the process of appointing their Bishops. At the time he wrote (just after the Revolutions of 1848) the Austrian Emperor nominated Bishops for appointment to Dioceses in Northern Italy. Pope Pius IX, to secure the Emperor as an ally, confirmed the Emperor’s choice. The Bishops, who, generally, only spoke German, had great difficulty in communicating or winning the trust of the Italian speaking Faithful. Pope Pius IX was not impressed. Rosmini had been Prime Minister of the States of the Church and was in line to be appointed as a Cardinal. However, he made himself unpopular by pointing out the problems facing the Church (the poor standard of education amongst the clergy, the poor Catechesis amongst the Faithful, etc) so was banished to a monastery. However, Pope John XXIII was a keen reader of his writings and many of his suggestions were finally taken up and introduced by the Second Vatican Council - the use of the vernacular in the Liturgy, for example.
Since 70% of Catholics that go to the *new mass* (the one in the vernacular)don’t even believe in the true presence I have to strongly disagree with you.
13:00 Exactly! We all have our special roles in the Church and world, according to our vocations from God. My vocation as a single layperson is important but different than that of clergy, consecrated religious, and married people. They do things I can’t and vice versa. We should all do our best to embrace and live out our own vocations, and appreciate the others, without envying them or trying to take on what God intended for them not us.
Oh! But this was done in .. the .. erm .. early church. Cardinals and conclaves, et al, were mediaeval distortions of the synodal reality. So .. acclaim for candidacy, some popular involvement, and possibly the restoration of secular authority involvement in selecting the bishop of Rome might shift the power-structure management system - in style if not substance - to better fit with the media-led auspices of presidential inauguration (not a monarchic enthronement and coronation). Simple as that. But then, what do I know ..? Keep the Faith; tell the truth, shame the devil, and let the demons shriek. God bless. ;o)
When are guys going to man up and admit that faith and reason demands that bergoglio is not a valid pope and work for the annul.ent of the bergoglian '"papacy?"
Francis is the worst pope since the Renaissance. Also Francis is a small man surrounded by small "yes-men." Compared to any pope since Leo in the 19th century, team Francis is shockingly shallow. If people like what Francis is doing I do ask they check out the local Episcopal Church because the direction team Francis is taking Mother Church - so why wait? You can get earth bound theology tomorrow. They even had a bishop that claimed you didn't need to believe in God. I'm sure that many of Team Francis have no faith in the historicity of Jesus.

John-Henry Weston just aired an interview with the Priests in France/Seminarians who were prevented from becoming Priests. No doubt, Francis doesn't want any new Priests who are actual Priests. Sounds like he is going to phase out Priests and just have anyone join in to celebrate a 'm'ass. By changing the voting process, no Pope afterward could ever change it back. Could the Church survive without Priests, Bishops, Cardinals and the Pope. Well, consider the Church in Japan. Missionaries were very successful in Japan and established a number of thriving Catholic Churches. Then, the Mikado expelled all foreigners and forbade all communication with the West. The Japanese Catholics were then led by their own well trained Catechists, who were, of course, authorised to administer the sacraments of Baptism and Marriage. The Japanese Catholics said Mass and made a spiritual communion. They read the Sacred Scriptures. When Japan was finally opened to the West over a hundred years later, the Japanese Catholic Church was thriving and growing. No Priests, no Bishops, no Cardinals, no communication with the Pope, but not a problem for Almighty God. Jesus Christ alone is Head of his Church. He can build his Church and protect it and cause it to grow directly, himself, if he wishes.
I'm starting to get discouraged about my faith. I just can't take this anymore.....I can't accept the church being destroyed one day at a time. I just detest this Pope!!

This 'passive/aggressive' undermining of the Pope is what concerns me. I am SHOCKED at Murray. He was RAISED better than this. Merely and simply the education he received in New Rochelle at Holy Family in New Rochelle, NY DEMANDS MORE of Murray than shilling for lesser media outlets attempting to derail the Pope's hopes and expectations. I am TRULY embarrassed for him and ashamed that he is such a disgrace to a Catholic Community of Holy Family, Blessed Sacrament and St. Gabriel where we were ALL raised better and were infinitely and seemingly more educated. Perhaps his next rung to climb on his ambition ladder would be to replace Frank Pavone???? Who, at the very least, had little to no Catholic education whatsoever. Very disappointing. Murray seems to be the ONLY 'notable' New Rochellean who brings shame upon us all. Then again, perhaps, Murray never considered New Rochelle HOME, or a place in which to learn, but only another step to climb on the social ladder?
I would not look down on a Pope elected Synodally ie 25% non-Cardinal participation. Motu Proprio on “Contextual Theolgy” is fine especially if you plan to walk with more laymen as Pope Francis. I think you are being led to “Spiritual Rigidity” Mr Royal by Fr Murray as he is “Stiff Necked” !!
I added this program and Fr Mirrayvto my official catholic Do Not Watch list. Rad trad is a dead end. Slander of the holy Father is a sin. False witness is a sin. See Reason & Theology, Counsel of Trent-, etc.
In the future, all popes will be elected based on their liking for Chairman Mao, Ru Paul, and Pee Wee Herman. Perhaps also Genghis Khan. A dance off will take place in the Sistine Chapel, with the winner being the one who most resembles Mae West.

If lay people participate in the conclave, could they be elected pope?! 🫣🤦♂️
I started thinking…. It’s possible that laity could choose a better Pope than the present Cardinals.
Well, they won’t ask you and me. 😁
Hey Robert Royal… DO CONSIDER. The SSPX will welcome you.BOTH…. Really!,,,
This is opening CANS of worms!
You’ll never remedy your issue, gentlemen, while you simultaneously continue to defend V2.
?

The point is: V2 is the remote and fundamental cause of the issues they are perplexed over. It was a substantial departure from Roman Catholicism; which, of course, is incompatible with the properties of infallibility and indefectability.
Did Jesus ask His various followers to vote on which guy should be the leader of the Apostles?
If I remember correctly, to replace Judas, the eleven Apostles selected two suitable candidates and drew lots to chose which should be appointed. “The lot fell on Matthias” I think. Now there’s an idea. Choose the next Pope by a throw of the dice!
@@Mark3ABE Correct. The 11 APOSTLES decided. They didn’t take a vote among His many followers or invite a handful to join in the decision. And yes, they drew lots but after deliberating, proposing two fine candidates, and praying over the decision.
I’ve often wondered what became of Barsabbas Justice. I’ll bet he became a great saint. It would make a great novel - The One Not Chosen
Mr. Royal…. Time to say bye bye. Good night…. Turn the page……
Sounded like Mao to me.... 😢
Did ever occur to you that podcasts like yours contribute to the chaos of the Church today?
@thomas, a pope worst than the present, you say? We were told at Garabandal, at that time, (the 60's), "the cup is overflowing", what would Holy Mother Mary would say today ??!!..... I thing ( might not be) that we will have a couple of bad popes before a good holy, catholic , loving and caring-for-the-salvation-of-souls pope... we must make much sacrifices, prayer to repare, as much as we can, the offenses against God, the Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, no matter wath the chastisements coming down on us. Imagine that the war extends to the point that electric grid is off, damages so bad that it may not come back... might not be, in americas, but we never know... I pray to God , in my Rosary, to strengthen my faith, because, I do not presume , nor think, it would be strong enough when the worst hard times come... am 59 and do not take anything for granted..
Im son of Mary hi
Yes I'm confermed Catholic
John-Henry Weston just aired an interview with the Priests in France/Seminarians who were prevented from becoming Priests.
No doubt, Francis doesn't want any new Priests who are actual Priests. Sounds like he is going to phase out Priests and just have anyone join in to celebrate a 'm'ass.
By changing the voting process, no Pope afterward could ever change it back. There will be no going back. It's like, prices will never go back down. That once sacred respect for the Church, for the role as Pope will be gone.
What a disaster!
I switched to Orthodoxy.
The Schism Thing. SSPX awaits you.
i read the three theologians sane thing i have been saying to the powers that be.. a straw man approach to healing is like creating more of the same sore.
i would hope the pontiff listens to me a commoner common sense reason. experience can never trump revealed truth. like healing without the doctor …
Ok it seems bad but Jesus promised.😊
Just do not detest Jesus.
Go to Reason and Theology and Counsel of Trent- you are being lied to. Don't give up hope. His name is Jesus. DrTM. Lied about pachamama!!!!!
Fr Altman is an angry vicious fraud. Pope Francis is Not your enemy. 😅
It really does feel like death by 1,000 cuts. Everyday I’m scared to look at my phone🫣
@@vmd8057 Never Jesus .........i detest liberal modernists
I love Pope Francis. He loves his flock.
l love the Lord Our God.
The Lord Our God loves his flock.
Anytime I hear someone say “we are hearing rumors…” as he said, he should know you shouldn’t repeat those rumors. It falls on the fine line of gossip.
You are crazy.
In the future, all popes will be elected based on their liking for Chairman Mao, Ru Paul, and Pee Wee Herman. Perhaps also Genghis Khan. A dance off will take place in the Sistine Chapel, with the winner being the one who most resembles Mae West.
I’d rather see a lottery to elect a pope than this!
