You have burgolio accepting a witches stang from a witch wearing a witched bracelet in 2018 and you give this satanist burgolio credence by covering the sham of a synod. Why? He isnt catholic and he isnt holy. I mean wake up. Its a satanic vatican and no one says anything. You have a witch doctor with a demonic idol prancing around in st peters and no says squat. What are you people doing? What will it take for you to wake up. What are you afraid of?

It is wonderful to hear from a genuinely insightful - and informative - erm .. long-time old-timer (apologies in advance, if required). Leaks, and leakers of confidences, from of old, have been detected (and used) by various means. However, the 'new' transparency, openness, and clarity blurb is, it would seem, wrought on a Need To Know basis .. Ah! Machiavelli, how thou wouldst have loved the Web-World now vast belaboured about the Vatican Halls. Keep the Faith; tell the truth, shame the devil, and let the demons shriek. God bless. ;o)

Expect the De Ranking of the papacy before the next pope - who is Pope PIZZA. Perhaps, an Ex Cathedra statement is in the pipeline once the SYNOD has its voice pitched for proclamation. War Warning 4 Israel ...Nov 5/6 the Persian, warhorse is marching to battle 2 invade the land of the Hebrew ..... My hope ......As a result, the Hebrews will discover Jeremiah's cave in Jordan.

The meetings are boring but it's important to realize that the machinations are done behind the scenes. These conclusions can be revealed months afterwards not reflecting the discussions. The conclusions are already determined before the synod began. It's a big waste of time and Vatican money.

Splitting a meeting into small groups is an old Marxist tactic. No one knows what was discussed at the other tables. One person at each table is supposed to report what was said, but if you have a Marxist stalwart as the reporter, then they spin everything to meet the predetermined outcomes desired by the marxists. At least when speakers address the entire Synod, everyone can listen and agree or disagree with what was said at the synod. This way NOBODY really knows what was said, so the final report can by written by the Marxists any way they want, and no one really has any input except the Marxists.

The cardinal or bishop who believes that the church should change its position because gay people "are born this way" is not good argument. I suspect that they think that since God is the author of life and so...? But God also makes or allows individuals to be born with many genetic mutations, chromosomal abnormalities, deletions, duplications etc...that bring about Cancer, Down Syndrome, Hypercholesterolemia, Trisomy 13 &18 and others etc...? Just because God allows something to happen does not make it good. Again to the the Cardinal or Bishop if we are to follow what science show us, should we be discounting or turn a blind eye to what science tells us how ones environment, social and psychological experiences affects individuals and influences ones behavior.

If everybody believes they are guided by the Holy Spirit then the realities of those sins which are a result of the lack of self-control, which requires grace and faith, do not get acknowledged. Everyone can believe that their are acting out of love when there is no solid base of virtue, there is no meekness of Wisdom (James 3:13).

Did we "overcome our prejudices" and "change Church teaching" when we, ooh, stopped drowning "witches"? When we stopped thinking it was ok to burn (even saints!) at the stake? When, yes, Jesuits stopped using slaves to help build Georgetown? All of those things were "just fine" with Church teaching at those times. Your truly fetishistic notion of "Church teaching" is not just anti-scientific, it's quite simply anti-intellectual. Because our Faith is 2,000 years old doesn't mean our thinking about that Faith has to remain... 2,000 years old.

Given that the Pope is not held to hold the US Bishops in the highest regard, could his meeting with the New Ways Ministry be interpreted as a kind of two fingers sign towards the US Bishops? In other words, he wasn't approving of their agenda but merely using these people to show his attitude to the US Bishops? Same with Fr Martin. Are the Pope's words of approval towards Fr Martin merely a sign to the US Bishops: okay, you don't totally approve of everything I do, so I am going to keep company with the people/groups you have criticised and express warm words about them.

Thank you for this, great to see two of my favourite commentators in conversation on these issues. I particularly appreciated Larry's comments regarding the "scorched earth" policy of some Traditionalists which just seems unworkable and deeply unhelpful. Sadly, this is the division that is the main product of this papacy as you continually referenced throughout this conversation. Similarly I appreciate you both speaking out about the "unconscionable" and "incoherent" meeting with Sr. Gramick: this is the semiotics of the synod which contradicts directly any façade of orthodoxy. We have seen Pope Francis work for the moral relativism condemned in Veritatis splendor for over a decade so I think it is vital we continue to explain what the strategy is with this proportionalist/ utilitarian/ fundamental option approach.

Wow his description of the hours and hours people have to listen at the synod reminded me exactly of how car dealerships like to close a deal, keeping you in the chair for hours and hours to wear you down, running off to the manager about this or that detail, leaving you hanging. I ran into that years ago, and now, if I shop for a car I am direct, quick and don't allow them to play any games at all, I will walk right out. If they play delaying tactics I walk. That seems to me what the synod is tacitly up to, wearing people out who were "interested" in getting the next model Catholic car, and come to find out AC is not available in the upcoming year because they have given up on AD and are dining with the Jesuit-izers.

if pope francis succeeds arguably remaking the church in one's own image (as a jesuit; the situationalism; the hammering it out individually in spiritual direction- and mostly at secondary & university levels which the order traditionally runs; decentralization of mission (nothing universal but the church & jesuits); relentless dialogue & cross-evaluating; the outlier as the norm etc.) is laudable for its ambition and efficacy and perhaps even markedly idiosyncratically influential in church history in an unprecedented manner because they are a singular charism. Go with the flow.
