@@user-zk6fc3dw9e Okay So as I get older I like it loud but not like a bass head. I like bass but I like clean. Not low and muddy sounding. You honestly can’t get away with that sound putting something in the trunk. And Avalon is most likely going to have the same response as my Lexus. After reading a lot of reviews, most people found them to be more accurate and out perform JL audios W6 versions. I went crazy and put 3 ten inch subwoofers in a sealed box. And also added an Alpine DSP. Now there’s way too much space. Lol. But it sounds incredible. Kickers L7 subs are meant to be played in a ported box. If you go that route, I would get a box tuned high at 40 Hz. Because the way the car is going to respond it’s going to drop those frequencies lower by the time it hits your ear . If you tune your box low to 35 to 33 Head like it’s going to exacerbate that level down into the 20s and probably give you a sound you don’t care for. Those Avalon probably have a good size alternator like my Lexus. I would pick 112 regardless of which one you pick the box size by 10% and just put more watts to it. I’m using kickers box calculating app, so that way it’s spot on with the driver that I’m using most of the calculations show that a oversized sealed enclosure will yield me almost better results than their ported enclosure I do prefer the sound of a sealed enclosure, but I am also downsizing from two infinity kappa 10 inch subwoofers so I know I’m going to lack some DB my main concern is the part that don’t understand about box rise, and impedance, when I look at kickers modeling aspects, I think it shows their rise around 47 Hz equal to around 20 something ohms.
