I liked your video and presentation. Very complete and detailed. I camped there in 2015 and went on some of the trails you featured. I went on Sept 30 that year and caught the aspen in full color. The downside was they shut down the campsite water around mid Sept. I saw a lot of turkeys in the campgrounds and they were actually flying up into the trees at the Lehman Caves visitor center. That was real interesting. Turkeys came right through my campsite every morning. I subscribed to see what else you have.

We're glad you liked the video! Great Basin was an unexpected and pleasant surprise for us. We really enjoyed our time there and are looking forward to going back. We commented how pretty it would be to see the Aspen in full color so we may need to time it for that on our return trip. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments!

Terrific! I am adding it to my list right now. Are you able to speak with any authority about the order of most desirable campgrounds in that area? Something close to everything? Wheeler Peak Campground I’m thinking? Also, our tip to you guys and everybody else, bring a black light flashlight with you whenever you go into a cave. You would be surprised about the brilliant colors when you find dark spaces or when they turn the lights off.

Good tip on the black light. We have them now that we're doing scorpion hunting regularly while in Utah.
As for campgrounds, it depends on what you're looking for and what you plan on doing. We liked Upper Lehman's layout and location. Wheeler Campground was closer to some of the trailheads; you might even be able to walk straight from camp depending on where your site is.

We were there in 2017. We stayed in the campground in town.

We really liked this park. Its attendance is so low compared to many others right now. Thanks for watching!

Actually there are many spots for vans and trailers. We parked a 32 foot motorhome as well!

Interesting... we didn't seem to find the larger sites when we were looking around, but we could have missed them. Do you remember if they are in one certain campground or spread around? Thanks for watching and for providing the extra info!

The Lehman Cave looks amazing. Too bad they don't allow weddings in the cave anymore. That would be much cooler than traveling to Las Vegas and getting married by an Elvis impersonator...💍🔔😎

Elvis in the cave - now THAT would be a wedding people would remember! 😄

What dates were you guys actually there? My wife and I visit in late September. Is there still snow on Wheeler Peak?

We were there July 28-30. There was some snow still on the trails but most of it was gone until you got closer to Wheeler Glacier. We hope you have a great trip and get some clear dark skies overnight. Thanks for watching!
