I hate to make a sour comment but if you play back the video, that first motor wasn't plugged in all the way (16:07) on the large white connector. The side with the white wire especially. I played it back a couple of times and it looked crooked or maybe it's my Brain!😂 Thanks for the Video 👍
At my workplace, we had a Gibson furnace combustion air blower's bearings go bad, repair guy replaced it with a new one and it immediately sounded like the rotor or fan was scraping big time, so he sent it back to the distributor, got a 2nd one- SAME problem! so he sent that back and went to another distributor and that one worked, so it took THREE tries to get one brand new fan that worked
Motors aren't made by equipment manufacturers. Mechanical equipment breaks regardless of the brand, if not there would be no video to watch. You see Goodman alot because they are probably the biggest manufacturer there is in terms of units per badge brand. Carrier might be the biggest but they make more brand names than any other manufacturer. The brand game is merely to dupe those that don't know better. I have a question no one seems to have the answer for - all automobile evaporators have a temperature sensor attached to the evaporator coil that will shut off the compressor if it gets too cold to prevent icing. So why do residential evaporators not have this feature?
In my line of work we use RF amplifiers and there was a time we were getting brand new models with screws missing/flopping around in them, bad signal, I have had that same frusteration.
