This was the August 8, 2008 reunion gig with Lynn Sorenson on bass & Howard Leese on guitar along with the 3 survivors. Paul said they did it to keep Mick Ralphs from touring with his own lineup known as "Mick Ralphs' Bad Company". Apparently Mick just wanted to gig & make money, so he shut down his own band & joined back up with the guys to tour with them for 8 years, good move. We have enough "fake/zombie" bands out there as it is.
RIP "Boz" paul is tthe classic example of what is missing in todays vocalists, paul rodgers in my opinion is the greatest at using his voice as an instrument
Way back in 1979, I graduated High School and was three weeks later 18 years old. This same year I bought my first brand new vehicle, a 1979 Datsun 620 Truck. The first thing I did with this little truck was get the AM/FM radio and speakers replaced with a Craig system with Jenson speakers. The first new cassette tape I bought was the newly released Bad Company tape, Desolation Angles. I wore that tape out and it broke. Over the next 2 years I bought this same tape again twice! Bad Company has always been one of my most favorite bands!!!!!
I have been listening to Bad Company & Paul Rodgers from day one. Paul has such an awesome voice. Thank you for staying with it and still sharing your talents!
This man is quite simply the greatest rock and roll singer that has or will ever be. The soul, power, style, confidence and longevity has no comparison. Name one. Both Robert plant and Steve Perry were blown out within 10 years of their career. Dio and Coverdale both incredible but none came close. He owns everything he does. Simply incredible
Boz Burrell sure wrote a killer song From 1979 Desolation Angels BAD Co. album Gone Gone Gone Boz you wrote a masterpiece R.I.P. ROCK.IN.PEACE, Boz. The Original legendary Bass Player From Bad Company.
I'm old enough to have seen "Free" live. Great band and Paul Rodgers was just so cool. Great front man and, oh, that voice! Unmistakable. The guy has such control and range and never looks like he's struggling. "Mr. Big" from his "Free" days is a classic example of his vocal talents.
Somebody once said that "Clapton is God" They were wrong wrong wrong Rodgers is the epitome of all that it is to be the greatest frontman/vocalist that ever was and ever will be .
@@jeremydow1432 ...I think your right. Clapton hands down on of the best guitar players on the planet. But Paul Rodgers one of the best singers on the planet.🤍💚💙

I have wore out countless cassettes, albums that have too many scratches from the years gone by . Thank goodness for how you can still listen to quality music now!! Thankful!! Long live BADCOMPANY!!!❤️❤️
The last time I saw a bad company was at the orpheum in Memphis over 30 years ago. They recorded it for radio 1 and you can hear me and my friends screaming on the recording that's on the radio. Damn good show!
Saw these guys play at the Garden auditorium in Vancouver, early 70's. The place only held a few thousand people. Awesome acoustics, and an incredible concert. This brings back all the memories.
Anybody see them around 10yrs. ago in Downtown Mt.Clemens MI. Stars and Stripes Festival.Trying to find any video recording of that Concert. Little Sisters last Concert before she passed😥
Never seen the original but I started at the tribute tour. I have seen them at least a dozen times. When I was in my twenties I drove a 66 GTO the tag said SKYNYRD ON IT

I'm Bernie Rudd, I went to school with Boz and he was my best friend. We formed a group at school that became quite famous (The Tea Time 4) and we did a residency at the Marquee and many pop tours. In those days he just sang. I was surprized when he took up bass, it didn't stop with some rather ordinary rock with Bad Co. he eventually became a very good jazz bassist and I recorded some great tracks with him in the Studio, before his death in Spain. In fact, I was the last of his friends to see him before he made his final return to Spain. He apologized for treating me so badly and I said I didn't hold grudges. I would have not liked the Rock lifestyle I have had heart condition since I was 17 years old. I still play today, I have a large collection of guitars and a reasonable band, I live in Sleaford UK but have no gigs.
Paul Rodgers, the greatest Rock voice ever! No one is even close!

No one makes music like this anymore. Great music. This is why so many older musicians still love and play classic rock.

The bassist is always underrated. Some really great ones out there going unnoticed.
