Aloha! I just wanted to drop a note and let you know how much I have enjoyed watching your play through. It has been a wonderful distraction from *waves hands wildly* all of this. Thank you for a calm port in the current storm. I look forward to more episodes.
Mabuhay! Thank you 🥺 that’s exactly what I always want to create here; a calm and relaxing space to get away from the noise. We can enjoy the story, lore, and just have fun 🤍
Hi, just dropping in to say I really enjoy this playthrough. I am slowly catching up on them, as I need to be ahead of you in my own game, don't want spoilers, but do enjoy how you handle things :)
Hey, I really enjoy your playthrough! Will you at some point show the mages orb and dagger combat? I would like to know, how the staff vs orb and dagger playstyle interact.
I tried out the orb and dagger, but I think I’ll have to put points elsewhere to make it optimised. I show it in an episode coming out soon :)) Thank you!! I’m happy you’re enjoying your time here with me 🥹
I gotta say... I've seen some people upset with the linear exploration vs open world... but i think this is definitely the way to go for future games like mass effect. It cuts the fluff of open space and wandering and allows for everything to be curated better. Id love to see "this" style of design but applied to Omega, the citadel, planets and stuff...
I often do not like open world, and I think there is only a certain type of story and game style that makes open world feel right. Otherwise it does feel like fluff and bloat. I think open world works really well for Red Dead Redemption for example. I do like this corridor style as well, for this game at least. To me, it makes more sense
@MrEvilside it would have been a nice touch to have the city of Treviso or Minrathos be an open world space. Then yea, just corridor to main quests. I struggle to stay on track, often getting side tracked if I see something in the distance
Illario is soooo suspicious now. I have my eye on him and his sketchy ways. Honestly, that vulnerable moment with Ballara really opened my eyes to her. It makes sense she has such a bubbly personality now, some people mask hurt and guilt with that kind of joyful exterior. She is adorable, and such a dork. I love her passion for what she does
@josephandrewshaw.6237 is it noticeably slower to level past 20? So far it’s felt fast and the leveling has felt at a good pace for me. So I think we should be fine without the extra stuff - and only sticking to main and side/companion quests
One thing I'm noticing very much about this game is that they have zero trust in players figuring things out. 'Puzzles' easy as dirt, companions spelling out even the most obvious things, 'between the lines' subtext is written bold-text in vibrant colour for all to see in blinding clarity. I've been long on the fence of buying this game but this is severely off-putting. Luckily there is the Amarii playthrough to see the story.
I feel the same about my hand being held a tad too tightly. I want a little more breathing room to figure stuff out on my own 😬 You have me for that! 😁
I genuinely hope nothing bad happens to Harding because of this "gift" I'm much further in the game than you and I still don't know what to think of it or what will happen to her. Bellara's talk about her brother was really moving and emotional, I felt so bad for her and can now forgive her scattered "cheery" demeanour. Lucanis's coffee date is so sweet, he's just a thoughtful, hot assassin and I love him for it ;) you've seen nothing yet... the way that man makes me insane 🥵
I am truly worried for Harding! I think this has to do with the Titans, but I’m not sure. The voice of the Oracle doesn’t sound malicious, but I’ve been fooled by that before! Was that Bellara’a brother I found? The person that was held as a vessel in that puzzle area. There was a note in that area that was the word she said meant Hummingbird… Coffee, the sweet goodbye 🥺 her was buying gifts for everyone, this man! He’s so thoughtful and kind. I wasn’t expecting that at all
@@heyamariiI won't spoil Harding's storyline but I'm so worried still and I trust none of this. Please don't let anything happen to my bestie Bioware!!! I don't think we found Bellara's brother no. I just feel so bad for her... I went in expecting to hate her because she's so "Disney" all the time and cheerful but she grew on me, I like her a lot! Lucanis is basically a sweetheart. He loves to cook, addicted to coffee and loves his family. Being an assassin and an abomination are just uh.. side things 😂 but really he's great probably my fav romance in a Bioware game. He's just being tormented by Spite atm, hope we find a way to sort that out but if not I'll marry an abomination and live happily ever after in Treviso idc 😅

"at least companions dont scream what I have to do"
Actually, they screamed about balista episode "use balista to break wall!"
Just when I thought they would stoooop 😂 they need to chill! I got this

Those open world games, but when u reach main story quest- it is always in corridors.
@MrEvilside it would have been a nice touch to have the city of Treviso or Minrathos be an open world space. Then yea, just corridor to main quests. I struggle to stay on track, often getting side tracked if I see something in the distance
Are both options off in the 'Tutorial and Hints' section of the interface options? That may tone down the quest spoilers a bit 😁
I assumed the tutorials would shut off after a while. I’ll go turn those settings off, it will definitely improve my experience
Bellara is my favourite new character so far. Rigth combination of clumsy charm, nerdiness and sass. Adorable. And I don't trust Illario one bit.
Illario is soooo suspicious now. I have my eye on him and his sketchy ways.

I can't believe you did that! How dare you cut off Claudia Black mid-sentence 🤣
Haha I committed a great sin
So if u would have all companions, will Lucanis buy something for all?
I’m not sure, I wish I had more companions for his quest to see if he did. What a thoughtful guy, I wasn’t expecting that
Uh oh, Bellara and Neve seem to be hitting it off. You may have to flirt harder LOL
No one will take my top spot as group hoe! How dare they flirt heavily with one another in my presence
does ballara have mood earrings? they go from gold to blue
Woah I never noticed! I’m going to keep my eye on those earrings now
Somehow I can't think of a clever comment today. I'll try again tomorrow. ☹
Some days, Smol needs rest to be clever Smol 🥺
What level are you
I think I’m around level 10-12ish. Still quite early in the game. Leveling is quick though
@ I’m like level 21 I hope doing the Main and side quests is enough to level up easily with out worrying about it
@josephandrewshaw.6237 is it noticeably slower to level past 20? So far it’s felt fast and the leveling has felt at a good pace for me. So I think we should be fine without the extra stuff - and only sticking to main and side/companion quests
@ i guess the points increase but you do get more xp I think
@josephandrewshaw.6237 ahhh so the exp doesn’t scale, it’s a consistent trajectory
