The romance choice was hard to get over, but while I was mulling it over in my head I think Treviso was in a more dire situation. Minrathos has corrupt leaders being influenced by Venatori, but they’re still present. There are guards all over the city, and a strong Shadow Dragon presence. Whereas Treviso has been occupied by the Antaam, and their only defense are the Crows who have just been devastated by the loss of their matriarch. They do not have a unified defense, just factions that are not unified
Not me clapping and cheering in the middle of working as I watch you using that orb and dagger ❤😂 I’m so so so glad you love it and that I wasn’t pointing you in a direction you wouldn’t enjoy (and girl… just wait. You feel badass NOW?!?! *winks conspiratorially*)
Thank you my guiding angel of a human! I absolute love it, and you knew I would. This is way more exciting and powerful than a staff build. I can’t wait to actually unlock the Spellblade tree, then I can be a menace
@@heyamarii also… just a little nudge from me… that medium armor perk is pretty damn nice if you have a skill point you’re sitting on eventually. And that choice at the end of the video is so hard. I went the same way you did my first playthrough and I’m gonna go with Neve this new one. It’s a tough call. I hate it. Especially since I did it for a MAN and it wasn’t even WORTH IT for me 🤣🤣🤣
@Nico.LaMarr I’ll take up that medium armour perk! Does it just add onto whatever armour I’m wearing? Or I have to specifically find medium armour? The choice between Minrathos and Treviso was tough! But I removed the idea of siding with romance options and thought about it. Minrathos had a present government (corrupted by Venatori but still there), guards, mages, Shadow Dragons, Wardens. They are equipped and functional to stand a chance against the dragon. Treviso on the other hand had factions that were not unified, an Antaam occupation, no guards, and the Crows are just dealing with the loss of their matriarch. They would be scrambling to try to survive. It just made more sense to me to try to help the weaker of the two cities
@MrEvilside I think you will like the orb and dagger a lot. You can switch back and forth! I plan on switching back to staff then back to orb and dagger often to get more of a feel for both at higher levels
That was crazy! I love the electrical effects. Nice that you finally found a tank, now you need to teach him how to taunt 🤣The first really hard choice, I'm not sure what I will choose. It seems like ousting the Tevinters later might be better than letting Treviso die from blight poisoning though.
The lightning spells are DISGUSTINGLY strong. I love it. I feel so badass and unstoppable. I hope I made the right choice between Treviso and Minrathos. Treviso just seemed to be in a more dire situation to start with
Poor Dorian! I guess all the elfroot he gorged on in your Inquisition playthrough is taking its toll on him 🤕 This quest should have been called "What elfroot has wrought".
I choose to believe that Dorian was having a mental breakdown when he chose that haircut 😅 but his face still looks like an older Dorian. I would absolutely do anything for Assan, I love him & his floppy ear so much!! And Davrin is great as well, just a tiny tad too serious but otherwise I love him too. Thank you for choosing Treviso, you just saved your potential in-law family girl haha (plus Treviso is just the superior city imo) choosing Minrathous would've locked you out of Lucanis's romance completely and now you still have the choice available which is great! AND that aside saving Treviso makes more sense imo since it's full of non mage helpless civilians with no army and no defenses.
Giiiirl I did not recognise Dorian at all 😂 I was squinting at the screen like huuuuh why! I think he went through a Britney moment or something. PLEASE can I have Assan?! Please. I would be such a good griffon mum. I would spoil the heck out of that dopey little thing and play with him all day. I would buy him matching outfits and take him to theme parks. Treviso just seemed like the wise choice even without Lucanis. Yes they have the crows to help defend the city, but right now they also have Antaam occupation and their faction is being upset by the death of their matriarch. I feel they need the help more. Minrathos has corrupt leaders being infiltrated by Ventori, but they have guards everywhere and the Wardens are there as well as the Shadow Dragons. They seem to have a better chance at defeating a blighted dragon. I know it might not be the case for story, but a small part of me is hoping
@@heyamarii Assan is the best I love him so much, baby can do anything he wants in my lighthouse I just love petting him so much ❤ Yeah I didn't even know about the Lucanis thing when I saved Treviso, it just made sense to me. Minrathous has a supposed (albeit corrupt) government and army and mages everywhere so in theory it should be better defended than Treviso who only has the Crows who are infighting and no army or government AND they're under occupation with no defenses and helpless civilians and merchants. The consequences are awful either way btw for either city and both Neve/Lucanis (I looked up the other option, I think saving Minrathous is way sadder imo) but saving Treviso makes more sense to me, plus I just love the city and the Venice vibes, sorry Neve 🙃 The Lucanis romance is the cherry on top as well cause I'm sorry I'm saving Treviso in EVERY playthrough I will ever do idc, said I'd raze Thedas for him and I will 🤣
That was my thinking about Treviso too! Same about the general vibe of the city, it reminds me of Venice and it’s gorgeous. I can’t wait for the companions to open up more so I can get to know them all more! Especially Lucanis and Davrin. I’m not sure if I like Davrin or just that cute little griffon haha
@@heyamarii I think Davrin and Lucanis are the best two tbh with the most interesting side quests (both fun and emotional). I was EXACTLY like you, don't know if I like Davrin or just like the fact that he's Assan's dad but I do like him, by the end Davrin was my bestie but Lucanis has my heart forever so Davrin got friendzoned pretty quick lol Bring him and Lucanis when you do stuff cause they have a rivalry and their banter is freaking hilarious 🤣 Lucanis loves trolling him!!
I am having a lot of fun with this tbh! I know there are issues, and sometimes I cringe a little with some of the dialogue, but I don’t need a masterpiece to be able to enjoy the game. The game is gorgeous, the combat feels fluid and engaging, the quests have been a joy to do, I haven’t had any silly fetch quests. There is a lot of good to balance out any criticism I’ve had. I’ll make a video of this when I have all the companions to make a proper review of the game. Im trying to be fair in my assessment since I think all games deserve a proper critical eye and a score they earned
@ yeh true yeh they’re are some aspect in the game where maybe it shouldn’t be as some people want to escape that type of things why they play games. However I’m having a lot of fun with it too
I do enjoy this game ( i enjoyed star wars outlaws as well) but something is missing in this game. I really can't put my finger on it, i know its some controversy over the game but thats not it for me. I am not going to complain about a 5 minute cut scene over a 100 hour game ,its ridiculous. Its a good game but something is still missing for me. Lol
I know what you mean. There is something missing for me too and I think I know, but not sure. The way my dialogue choices are going, there’s not enough snark in it. I’m too polite? I’ve been picking the more snarky and aggressive choices, but then I end up still sounding polite. It’s a beautiful and fun game, but that option to be contrary or sarcastic is not there. I don’t want to be evil btw, but I do want to be able to react negatively to something.
It's been decades since Inquisition, right? Makes sense both Varrick and Dorian look older. Solas and Morrigan don't because one's immortal and the other half immortal. I like the continuity. Not so much the woke veil they through over it though. It's a bit much and in your face. Heard it even gets worse. Too bad, because the game looks great.
Very insightful! I didn’t even think about that but you’re right that Morrigan looked like she reverse aged and Dorian looks like he’s getting on in years. I didn’t even recognise Dorian 😂
I think Dorian needs help 😂 he’s going through something. The game does have some of the Dragon Age charm, but there’s something missing in it. The character models are still a hard adjustment for me. Scout Harding is the best looking character imo
