What about if they gove you parcel how do you go by that. I look through assessors property details and go to their map and see like a interesting shape that i dont have a name for. How do i do it through PC. Or that will need to be done on site after gcp and coordinates obtained of each gcp and then add those coordinates to google earth, create .kml file and let kt rip? Or i have a emlid reach rs3 base and rtk drone. Whats the nove here
I'm interested in making a waypoint mission editor for the mavic 3. It uses kmz files. It has more information than just longitude latitude, including altitude, direction, gimbal tilt and a few others. How would I find the format of those. Are they all xml files. Are kmz files just kml zipped up? Thanks.
Question, is there a way to manipulate the flight path of the M300 using a H20 for ortho flights? When I upload the kml the DJI flight creates a serpentine pattern instead of a grid flight pattern. Any thoughts as to why and how to change/fix?
I have the new Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced. Trying to figure out how to do a mapping mission that will hover and capture the image. GS Pro has a "hover and capture" setting, the smart controller doesn't. It will allow the import of a KML. But, I would need a grid pattern, not just a line or polygon. Any ideas?
set camera to capture on a timer. you will have to do some math. There are online tools, I think MAPIR has one. They also have the cameras lol. but set timer, set mission speed, and set altitude to have the overlap you require. 30 percent each edge and 70 percent front and back. then create your waypoint line for the flight path. RAW POWER. There are Apps for this. But you can go crazy mode with oblique routes and nadir ones if you are really trying to express the potential of the gimbal and your processing skills.
set a home altitude and location, and place GCP's if you require. Doesnt the DJI Pilot PE app have this mission feature? you should check. otherwise you will be loading these KML's
GS Pro not compatible with the M2EA right now. SDK for M2EA was just released so perhaps some third party apps will allow this functionality in the near future. Seems like manual flight would be the best option as of now or manually drawing a waypoint mission which seems like potentially more work..
Have you since found any more streamlined workaround to the solution at 2:54? I have the current firmware, & getting " Attempt to invoke interface method 'java.util.Iterator java.util.List.iterator()'' on a null object reference ". No response from DJI Help 😞
Could send support@dji.com a message with your KML if you havn't already, otherwise don't have anything further on this workflow... Like to use Flight Hub 2 for waypoint missions and UGCS for detailed mission planning when needed and can export those missions for import directly into Pilot 2 app.
Thank you very much. The trick of google earth, and then replacing the coordinates was very helpful!

I have a Dji Mavic 3 Enterprise and i want to know if and how to make a kml file for a facade project
Would check our third party software like DroneLink or UGCS for automating facade inspection. The High-Res Grid feature may also be useful.

Would check out this documentation: developer.dji.com/doc/cloud-api-tutorial/en/specification/dji-wpml/overview.html .
Hi, i am also interested in creating an editor. the provided link doesn’t work

Seems like you are uploading a line for a waypoint mission instead of a polygon for a mapping (grid) mission.

This is available in DroneLink now FYI

what if i want to make a smooth curve from KML ?
Would have to import a line and then adjust settings for M300 in mission flight.
