Great video Barry. I was also thinking about Drone Link, but GlynBarrett beat me to it. Thank you for doing this video, and all of the information provided.

I have been wanting to get this done for a while - but time is a limited resource for everyone!

Thanks for making an up to date video on this Barry. I have watched older videos and gotten confused. I think the method to view missions in GE has changed over the years. This was the first mention (that i have come across) of an extension to get vlm. Firefox also has this add-on with the same name, i haven't tried it yet.

Happy to help. There is a bit of confusion as there are two ways to do this. On my previous channel I did actually cover both methods quite some time ago. Hmmm...might need to dig those out and put them out as legacy videos.
One is to download the software from the link I provided. The other is the VLM plugin. You are correct that there is also a VLM plugin for Firefox but...sadly...it doesn't give the same results. That's a shame as Firefox is my goto browser.

Hi Barry. not used Litchi - been on dronelink for a couple of years, which i use with my M2P for repeatable missions. the drone is getting long in the tooth and im thinking of selling it and getting an M3. for context i use an M3E for surveying so have batteries already. My repeatable video missions (nice and smooth in dronelink with M2P) obviously arent compatible with DJI Fly waypoints. Browsing those tools on Litchi Utilities has got me thinking.... is it possible to convert from Go 4 waypoints (presumably the same format that dronelink outputs as "dji waypoint mission" to Litchi and from there to DJI Fly and keep the specifics of the mission intact? sorry for asking such a long winded question, but figured you might be the guy with the answer!

Hi. The M3 is a great drone - I have an M3E, M3T and M3Pro... That said, the SDK isn't available for the M3Pro so you can't use it with Dronelink (or anything else for that matter) for pre-programmed flights. There are hacks that can get you there - pretty much by reversing what I showed here - but it is a bit of a pain to use. But...just be aware of that when looking to get rid of the M2P.
I replaced my M2P with an Air2S, which worked great and is compatible. These days though The Air2S mostly collects dust while I use the others (if you wanted a take it off my hands I'd be open to offers :) )
On the site I link to there is a Go4 to waypoint converter - so you should be able to convert it to Litchi, and then go from there back to DJI Fly waypoints. You would have to overwrite a dummy mission to get it into DJI Fly but I'm pretty sure it could be done.

BTW - I did try to do this through Dronelink too. I was able to get the mission into DL but for some reason the point of interest didn't come across correctly. Otherwise that would be been a much simpler solution as you literally have a Google Earth button in the preview :)
