Excellence stuff! When you are creating the Orthos using the M3e, do you then switch to something like the M3 Cine for the video shots? Love your content and the inspiration on the business end too.. All the best from N.Ireland
Great details...as usual. Thanks for all your content. I am still on the fence for Dronelink, I have a Mavic 3E and need the more expensive package. I wonder if you would be interested in doing a series on camera settings. Focus, exposure, and dewarping? Thanks Ray
What are you using the M3E for? Depending on need you might not need Dronelink. Instead check out the series on flight hub 2 that I put together. Focus, exposure and Dewarping depend on what you are trying to capture so it's not a one size fits all. TBH - if I'm mapping (which is what I do most of the time with the M3E) I leave the camera in auto unless there is a specific need to override it - it does a great job.
That's interesting and helpful for people who aren't even sure what to offer, let alone how to do it. Do you know golf well enough to write the script, do they write it? How does that part work if you wouldn't mind sharing.
Thanks. I use Davinci Resolve as a video editor. The Golf Course is a layer on top that was a cut out of the hole from the full ortho of the entire course. And the line is just a red line that was placed on top and then animated using keyframes to keep it in the correct position relative to the flyover.

Yes. I have a few options, but for editing the video, I prefer dlog, which the M3E doesn't provide

The script was written by the golf pro.
Great video Barry. Are you using waypoints when flying the fairways and holes?
Yes. I find that way I can tweak the flights if I need to and I get a smooth consistent flight.
Really great video!! What program are you using for the animation of the golf course?
