Thank you. I'm slowly building subscribers but still only just over 2,300, and not all of those area interested in mapping. I guess I could advertise to get more subscribers but I only do the videos for fun and education so there's not a lot of upside to spending that money. But...please share with people you know :).
Funny how this video has come out just after doing some flights experimenting with GSDs earlier today (new to drone mapping). Long story short, the flight I did at 60m came out crisp once processed whereas the one at 30m was a pixelated mess 😅.
Ahh. I suspect you ran into the issue of being lower to the ground causing motion blur which I covered in today's video. Some software will adjust for that, but it's not always enough. Try the one again at 30m with a shutter speed of 1/1000 or higher or a much slower speed and you should see much better results. The drone can make a big difference too. Ones with a mechanical shutter (M3E or even the good old Phantom 2 Pro) will generally tolerate higher speeds than ones without.
@@aviosmedia thanks for the tips, much appreciated. I had the shutter set at 1/2000 flying at 2m/s. Will give it another go again flying at a slower speed and see how that goes.
Yup. If it's still bad at 1/2000 then it is most likely flying too fast for the conditions (as @kizzjd9578 suggested), or it was out of focus, or (less likely) that your ISO was set crazy high. Future video coming on how shutter speed, ISO and aperture affect photos. Take a look at one or two and you should be able to figure out what is wrong. Is it blurry (speed), fuzzy (ISO) or out of focus? Then adjust as necessary.
Thank you for taking the time to produce this learning. Much appreciated cheers.
You're welcome!
Banger after Banger !!!
I think that means you liked it? LOL
@@aviosmedia For Sure my friend. Thank You !!!
As always, a really good video!!
Glad you like them!
Surprisingly good video for only 500 views.

Need to slow your drone speed, ive done alot of 18-20m height mapping with no issues.

@@kizzjd9578 will certainly take that on board. Thanks for the tip.
