    In Japan, this car has an auto door on the passenger side rear door.

    Excellent review! I've been looking for a review like this as for some reason I'm very interested in taxis

    Our local nissan dealer uses these as their customer shuttle (still yellow, but different logo wrap). It's quite an upgrade from the standard nv200...even the maxed out SV.

      Yep, thats why i want to buy one of these when its retired from being a taxi. Nissan should have made one like this for civiians

    @dmitriy40 I actually spoke at length to a random taxi driver who gave it a thorough evaluation. He was impressed by it. That being said, I didn't notice any problems with communication from the back to the front or vice versa. Nissan did their homework on this cab before releasing it, and to me it seemed far superior to any taxi I've ever been in.

    90 % of customers hate this cab. They can't open the doors and girls broke their finger nails trying opening them. Windows are unique, nobody can figure them out since they are not power.

      So the issue is, New Yorkers are too high maintence and ignorant to learn a vehicle they apparently ride in often

    • @taradead

      Slide doors on the nv200 do take getting used. If you're gonna be taking cabs in nyc often, maybe grind off those nasty/fake long fingernails. Yuk!

    how many miles can you get from the NV200 ? 100k, 200k, 300k or more ?

    • @olepickle5366
      @olepickle5366 4 года назад +1

      Yeah man, every video presentation of nv200 were indeed great(I'm so interested to get one) but when it comes the questions like you are asking they just ignore it and choose not to touch their keyboards. That's also I wanna know but no response. Probably most of these JATCO CVT transmission vehicles are already compacted in the junk yard.

    • @04dram04

      @@olepickle5366 Considering these vans are going for $10k with high miles. Its worth $3k to have the transmission replaced, when it goes out.

    Hey Ivan, how is communication with passengers? The partition only has a tiny money slot, you can't relly have a conversation between front and back, can you? Have you used the intercom? When I try, all I get is irritating amplified chatter from the rear "infotainment screen", how about you? How about some fresh air in the back for passengers? You like these fist-sized holes which Nissan considers windows? Hey Ivan, have you seen a drunk passenger trying to puke out of that rear window? Not really possible, is it? And what are you talking about 8 or 10 hour shift driving a taxi in NYC? Everybody does 12. .... How about you stick to what you know, and not pretend to understand a taxi driver job. You are not a taxi driver, you should have reviewed this very flawed car AS A PASSENGER ONLY. Just like every car, it has its pluses and its minuses, your review really did not highlight either.
