This week on Chronic Illness Weekly It's the one where I spoke too soon. After a positive monday, I crash after 10 full on weeks back at uni. I fight through brain fog and fatigue , headaches and hormones to finish up the semester and get home for Easter break.
Chronic Illness Weekly is, you guessed it, a weekly vlog showing you my life with Chronic Illness. I share my experiences with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome ( POTS ) and Chronic Migraine. I fight chronic pain and fatigue and many other symptoms on a daily basis but I try not to let it stop me.

Thanks Jordan. I'll be sure to take a look x
190 beats is a lot! What did you do at that time? Were you at the gym?
183 it topped out at but I was at the gym and doing cardio bits and pieces so hardly surprising. But that kind of heart rate used to send me straight to the floor but the other symptoms are much calmer now x
You never use a wheelchair for your bad days? Wouldn't that be helpfull? (Or did you say a while ago, you left it on purpose?) Also with the potsy days? Maybe it will help you on longer and bad days so your joints can handle class and working out? For me it works well. On days I use my wheelchair more my quality of walking and exercising is better. I recognize the problem with hormones, that's the reason I've injection pil (Sayana). During my period every joint was so instable, and my belly hurt so much, and I was so extremely tired. I've gained some weight because of it, but it's totally worth it for me. Hope your periods stop soon.
I use to use one a lot because I didn't have another choice. I only have a manual chair so I can't use it with my shoulders and I hate to be pushed. Personally, I find it takes a lot more of my effort and energy to use it than not. I do borrow a mobility scooter from uni if I really need it. I tend to feel worse if I don't excercise my legs I have my walker and stick for support when I need them. I think wheelchairs are great and can give people such great independence but it just doesn't work for me or my situation. I am planning on doing a mobility aids video soon x
@@ChronicallyJenni I completely understand. I live in Holland and I have a Smartdrive (powerassist), without I wouldn't be able to wheel around. And I'm lucky I got in from Township/insurance. And I agree it's terrible to depent on pushers. I hope you feel a bit better soon. And believe me I'm absolutely an advocate for exercise. Using my wheelchair, walking bike(also An amazing thing), and my knee braces, alternately helps me improve my quality of walking and exercising. Without I wouldn't be able to do as much exercises. Be proud of what you do. I'm impressed how you deal with uni and the very busy semesters.
Oooh what's a walking bike? Thank you so much for your support x
