    Many years ago, I am a young kid when I first saw your video. Now I am a robotics engineer. But your robot is still the most human-like one that I ever seen.

    This robot is more talented than every robot (might challenge against boston dynamics). You are a one man Research and Development Center. BRAVO

      An MMA style match between this and boston's robot would be lit. No more sumo push. They both can dance, I like to see them dance in the ring.
      or perhaps just trying to knock each other over and challenge the balance algorithm.

    It really is an amazing robot. Over the years I’ve become obsessed with robots, I think yours is the most naturally walking one I’ve found. Incredibly smooth. I hope that one day I can create something as beautiful as that

    I think one of the keys in smoothness is the free waist, that allows each leg to move in a wider range and also to not move the servos when the other leg also needs to advance. Pretty amazing! I am still waiting for your 17 and 18 versions of the robots :D

      I noticed also that it's the khb rev2 model right? But he modified the servo for the waist and the feet are small (narrow) and also the original robot had some uggggly servo behind the feet (by the calf) but this one God damn.. Looks like no servo there or it's repositioned in a much better way.. Any ideas what he might have changed from the original robot?

    primer v 7 robot step movements are very dynamic and also smooth like the way humans walk, but why the robot's footsteps are stiff, inflexible, should the robot's feet be replaced with rubber material so that the footprint doesn't slip and slip when walking on slippery media rocks .. your robot really motivates everyone in the world to be able to make robots that are more perfect like human movements in general ... you deserve the thumbs up of a true professor .. why your channel rarely updates more to make a robots

    Hmm...took ten years or so to get a robot to just walk like a normal person. I say it was worth it considering how today's robots still walk with the bend knees method. Sure it works for them...but it just looks weird to see them walk like that. This right right here is more natural. So great work.

    Jokes apart, the development is brilliant, Doctor...congratulations. Only one doubt: this development is more in hardware, or more in software? I remember I read a Caltech article recently,where them explain the development of the movement and balance of their robots was much more in the mathematic processes of their calculations for the movement, than in the speed and smoothness of their parts.

Can you tell me which servos you changed? I can see you added some servo to the hip.. Please we need some tips.. Don't tell all but just help us in the right direction? Also just a tip what software you used to program or what's the general idea? Is it motion capture? Is it frame by frame? Just give us the theory? Help us make robots better.. Don't share all the secrets but just general tips please? Atleast the robot model and what servos.. Any information can help us all :)

    0:30 I see the waist twists when walking, I don't own a KHR-3HV but have the impression the waist is fixed, did you modified it? -- obviously, but only 4 servos? How does the waist rotate?

  • @wahabfiles6260

    Dr. Guero, is there any code or paper on model used? Is it trained via reinforcement learning model?

    • @wahabfiles6260
      @wahabfiles6260 3 года назад

      @wiltord mark yes, I am familiar with these but the robot shown in the video is more remarkable becaue it is controling several degrees of freedom using the embedded samll controller. So the learned stuff must be very low size, this is why I was quite curious if it is AI or other analytical dynamic models. Analytic dynamic models can out perform AI because they are fast as there is a single formula to compute the result!
