Many years ago, I am a young kid when I first saw your video. Now I am a robotics engineer. But your robot is still the most human-like one that I ever seen.
An MMA style match between this and boston's robot would be lit. No more sumo push. They both can dance, I like to see them dance in the ring. or perhaps just trying to knock each other over and challenge the balance algorithm.
It really is an amazing robot. Over the years I’ve become obsessed with robots, I think yours is the most naturally walking one I’ve found. Incredibly smooth. I hope that one day I can create something as beautiful as that
I think one of the keys in smoothness is the free waist, that allows each leg to move in a wider range and also to not move the servos when the other leg also needs to advance. Pretty amazing! I am still waiting for your 17 and 18 versions of the robots :D
I noticed also that it's the khb rev2 model right? But he modified the servo for the waist and the feet are small (narrow) and also the original robot had some uggggly servo behind the feet (by the calf) but this one God damn.. Looks like no servo there or it's repositioned in a much better way.. Any ideas what he might have changed from the original robot?
primer v 7 robot step movements are very dynamic and also smooth like the way humans walk, but why the robot's footsteps are stiff, inflexible, should the robot's feet be replaced with rubber material so that the footprint doesn't slip and slip when walking on slippery media rocks .. your robot really motivates everyone in the world to be able to make robots that are more perfect like human movements in general ... you deserve the thumbs up of a true professor .. why your channel rarely updates more to make a robots
Hmm...took ten years or so to get a robot to just walk like a normal person. I say it was worth it considering how today's robots still walk with the bend knees method. Sure it works for them...but it just looks weird to see them walk like that. This right right here is more natural. So great work.
Like many have said , it seems that the hip articulation and movement is what enables the robot to walk smoothly and human-like , even robots like Atlas doesn't have a moving hip articulation
Are you a single person doing all that by yourself? It’s impressive. I see less advanced stuff developed by large companies with a lot of engineers behind it. How is that possible?
*M E D A B O T S !!!!!!!* Jokes apart, the development is brilliant, Doctor...congratulations. Only one doubt: this development is more in hardware, or more in software? I remember I read a Caltech article recently, where them explain the development of the movement and balance of their robots was much more in the mathematic processes of their calculations for the movement, than in the speed and smoothness of their parts.
Regards Dr.Guero. Are you planning to make these robots bigger? Or are you giving your researches to the robotic companies such as Honda (for Asimo project) already?
Waw.. This is genius work.. You are a great master.. Respect from Syria my brother.. I am interested to try and do the same, can you help with some tips? Is this the khr 3 Rev 2 robot? Can you tell me which servos you changed? I can see you added some servo to the hip.. Please we need some tips.. Don't tell all but just help us in the right direction? Also just a tip what software you used to program or what's the general idea? Is it motion capture? Is it frame by frame? Just give us the theory? Help us make robots better.. Don't share all the secrets but just general tips please? Atleast the robot model and what servos.. Any information can help us all :) Thank you for your great work
0:30 I see the waist twists when walking, I don't own a KHR-3HV but have the impression the waist is fixed, did you modified it? -- obviously, but only 4 servos? How does the waist rotate?
@wiltord mark yes, I am familiar with these but the robot shown in the video is more remarkable becaue it is controling several degrees of freedom using the embedded samll controller. So the learned stuff must be very low size, this is why I was quite curious if it is AI or other analytical dynamic models. Analytic dynamic models can out perform AI because they are fast as there is a single formula to compute the result!
Did you just change the waist servo from the original bot? I also noticed the feet are small.. And looks like you modified the servos there also.. Can you tell us a little? Just about hardware.. What did you change from original robot model? I'm talking about Rev 2 model
What diference betwenn 2013 and 2020 ... 7 year with so little progress .. Asimo walk like this in 1989 .... no real evolution since 30 years ... Robotics is the sector of activity that has evolved the least in the last 30 years. just consider like Toy in world Shame
Many years ago, I am a young kid when I first saw your video. Now I am a robotics engineer. But your robot is still the most human-like one that I ever seen.
Man that's a dedication that you worked for almost 10 - 15 years on a single robot
This robot is more talented than every robot (might challenge against boston dynamics). You are a one man Research and Development Center. BRAVO
An MMA style match between this and boston's robot would be lit. No more sumo push. They both can dance, I like to see them dance in the ring.
or perhaps just trying to knock each other over and challenge the balance algorithm.
You have built and programmed one of the most impressively performing robots I have seen!
It really is an amazing robot. Over the years I’ve become obsessed with robots, I think yours is the most naturally walking one I’ve found. Incredibly smooth. I hope that one day I can create something as beautiful as that
It walks so smoothly! It's amazing how it walks with so much style! I wonder if it will also be able to run in the future.
This is true genius, an amazing feat you have accomplished Dr.
It’s like seeing a baby learn how to walk.
It's so good it looks like it's animated, mad props to you!!

Progress is amazing. Keep it up. Im just so impressed idk what to say
always enjoy your amazing progress videos
Fantastic work I love it! This is very inspiring for my humanoid project I'm working on, keep up the amazing work.
Great! You should share more videos :)
absolutely stunning work
How are his movements so smoooth..
It's a person in a robot suit
Dr. Guero, mi admiración y respeto. Qué hermosos robots hace. Impresionante manera de equilibrarse. Su diseño muy original. Me encantan. Felicidades!!
Awesome!! Great job, looks amazing!

you progress is awesome! congrats!
An amazing evolution!
Amazing work! 👏 Great job! 👍💯

Like many have said , it seems that the hip articulation and movement is what enables the robot to walk smoothly and human-like , even robots like Atlas doesn't have a moving hip articulation
Hmm, evolution as in trial & error with 'some' oversight, well done :-)
Nice see update on it.
It would be amazing to see it run
Far the best from any bipedal wide around! Awesome human like walk!
Really lovely work. Do you have any publications, or can you point to any publications on topics relating to the controls?
Are you a single person doing all that by yourself? It’s impressive. I see less advanced stuff developed by large companies with a lot of engineers behind it. How is that possible?
can u share work, publication, something. What you have done is impressive and definitely will help researchers world wide.
Damn that thing leaves Honda's Asimo to shame
Very amazing. From what i translated from your writings, is that you're using A.I. to help create these natural movements?
Amazing work Dr. Guero! Where can I get this robot for my experiments?
very nice

That's right in the software.
Is It ready to bring my beer? ;) Congrats, amazing work, where we can learn about?
Please tell me where to get such motors.
This is great! Can you share the plans of this?
Amazing, Semangat terus
I'm interested to learn from you.....(is there any way to learn from you doctor).....
Any chance of design elaboration video ?
Regards Dr.Guero. Are you planning to make these robots bigger? Or are you giving your researches to the robotic companies such as Honda (for Asimo project) already?
Hello. Wonderful result!!! Tell me what controller do you use in your latest model? Arduino? Rasberry? Or something different?

Thank you for your great work
Is there any web page for you can you share it plz
perfect...
hallo, may i ask for larger size servos you are using in this project? how much would be the price?
tiny soldier👍
0:30 I see the waist twists when walking, I don't own a KHR-3HV but have the impression the waist is fixed, did you modified it? -- obviously, but only 4 servos? How does the waist rotate?
Yes, you noticed well.
Dr. Guero, is there any code or paper on model used? Is it trained via reinforcement learning model?
@wiltord mark yes, I am familiar with these but the robot shown in the video is more remarkable becaue it is controling several degrees of freedom using the embedded samll controller. So the learned stuff must be very low size, this is why I was quite curious if it is AI or other analytical dynamic models. What is the next step Dr. ?
Did you just change the waist servo from the original bot? I also noticed the feet are small.. And looks like you modified the servos there also.. Can you tell us a little? Just about hardware.. What did you change from original robot model? I'm talking about Rev 2 model
I added 22 servos, but I don't think there is any problem with the original servo type.
Super power 🙂
How do I learn to do this? 😱
the best robot in the world!
what kind of servo are you using here sir ?
🔥🔥👍👍 Super
How many servos in primer-v7?
V7 and V3 use 22 servos and V5 uses 18 servos.
Wow👍🏻👏👏👏👏
are the 4 servos the only actuators?
Can he push a "Wheelbarrow"?
👍
Where does Dr.Guero work? Is he a professor at some university? I couldn't fin any scholar profile.
it walks perfect i hope it can run and i think you can made human size robot too
Why do you only have 13k everyone not subbed please sub, this is awesome bro keep it up👍🏽👍🏽
Biped + Featherless
What if we scale this thing up and transform it into a gundam
:D nice....
Ok make it transforms into car.
While USA robotas being taunted by the passing crows.. Wonder someone from that division reacts from this.
Just when I thought the meaning of the robotics movement depends on to be understood, Clearly I did not.
T-800 Soon
Need make in abig size , i now if you make a big size is need a big money too
This is not dynamic walking. Just apply some distribution and watch.
What diference betwenn 2013 and 2020 ... 7 year with so little progress .. Asimo walk like this in 1989 .... no real evolution since 30 years ... Robotics is the sector of activity that has evolved the least in the last 30 years. just consider like Toy in world
Shame
It's a big progress for a one man show...
