United Shapes Cadet is in the Quiver

It carves well, feels stable, and handles choppy snow conditions although I haven't made any powder turns yet. Overall, I feel comfortable and at home on the United Shapes Cadet 162 which is why it's the newest snowboard in my quiver.
It has muted graphics to say the least, maybe even too plain. But that's my style in life, stay low key and get the job done.
You may have seen the demo day video where the Cadet made a good impression on me. I'm really glad there was a chance to try it out because to be honest, I would probably pass this by in a store.

I've got a 2016 Deep Reach. It kills it in powder trees. A friend has also lent me his Covert splitboard. It is super fun to ride and has been able to handle all conditions exceptionally well. I am just a bit sad that they changed the outline and shape of both boards for this season.

Thanks for the preview of the Cadet. What size board did you go with? Do you feel like it's a good fit for your specs? I was thinking about getting either the Cadet or the Horizon this year.

I have the 162 and at 6ft 225 lbs I like the way it handles. I've only been out for one spring day so I'll be putting it through the paces next season. I haven't ridden the Horizon so I can't speak to that.
