I finally installed it and just after 2 heat cycles (over 1 day) there’s already some surface oil in the can! This stuff really works, I can’t ask for a better can cause I already have it

Wow, that front bumper chin has seen better days! Still, from what I've read with the EcoBoost engines, this is a rather critical modification as the DI system doesn't wash the oil off the valves like the port injectors used to.

2wheelLove for make it to remember you have mishimoto catch can

Well, it's out of the way, and with it being low, it would make it harder for 'heavy' oil vapors or droplets to make it back up into the intake.
Also, when you do an oil change, you'd have a reminder to drain the catch-can.

Does the filter in the catch can last for the life of the vehicle? I found a generic catch can on mountune's website that has you replace their little white filter every so often

This filter is made of brass and is not required to be replaced.

Ok but how do you drain it?

The bottom of the catch can unscrews from the top so the content can we emptied. You can also use the drain plug on the bottom of the can.
