We will be honoring Pastor Steve and Joyce Pomp, who are retiring after 42 years of faithful service pastoring at Tenstrike Community Church.
This special service will start at 10:00 am followed by a fellowship meal.
Come celebrate with us! We would love to see you there!

The Fellows Family Museum will be open Saturday, September 7th, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Everyone is welcome. Come explore the history of Tenstrike! We have 3 buildings of pictures, household items, tools, a replica of the village of Tenstrike from the 1940s-and 50’s, World War ll display and machinery. We will have multiple vendors with crafts, baked and canned goods and fresh produce.

Starting Wed. Oct 2 at 6:30 we will be having a class for the adults! We will be going through the book “Living from the Unseen” by Wendy Backland. It is a study of looking at the scripture and finding out who we are in Christ. There is a sign up on the sheet on the welcome center at the church or contact Joan Pomp. We will be ordering books for the class so would like to know by September 15th if you are interested.

Transition Updates:
Pastor Dean Patrow has accepted the Lead Elder position to be a bridge in leadership during the time between Pastors.
We are pleased to announce that after several months of prayer and seeking the Lord together, the Pastoral Selection Committee selected a candidate for consideration to be the next pastor of Tenstrike Community Church. They submitted Gilles Mbo to the TCC Elders as candidate for this position. Gilles is open to serving as pastor for the next season of ministry with our church family.
In the days ahead, Gilles will be doing linguistics training, mentoring with Pastor Dean Patrow, and taking sermon preparation and leadership classes with TruBridge Pastors Larry Dorman and Jim Binder. Gilles and his wife Krista will also be receiving mentoring from Steve and Joyce Pomp.
Currently as Elder, Gilles will be helping build the church family through counseling, prayer, and small groups. We are thankful to have him as a part of our leadership team.
At this time, as our church family, we welcome your input including affirmations or concerns regarding this decision. Please share with one of the TCC Elders, the Pastoral Selection Committee, or one of our honorary Elders concerning this.
