I'm a SAHM of 4 boys, living with a chronic illness. I also have a special needs child who suffers with ADHD, anxiety and High Functioning Autism.
My name is Meredith (aka Meri) and I'm a stay at home mom of 4 boys (including twins). I also suffer from an autoimmune disease called Sjogren's Syndrome, which makes each day a little more challenging. I am also the mom of an ADHD ODD, Asperger's child.
Like most of you out there, I'm just a regular (crazy) chic trying to survive as a mom. I'm far from perfect, but I do my best to get through each day while keeping everyone alive. I also share what works for me for managing the day to day madness of being a family of 6.

I listen to your videos because I too have Sjogrens Syndrome. It’s now January 29, 2023. I’m sorry that you most times feel sick - So do I. So I understand 😢. A few minutes ago I saw another one of your videos and I do know that you feel old but please believe me I was once 36 and didn’t think about my age. Well here I am with Sjogrens and I will be 77 in July 😊. You are really Young. Enjoy 😉 👍🏼🌹🌸💖
Have you ever considered going to a Functional Medicine doc? I only mention it because in addition to your illness, you have lost 2 animals to mysterious illnesses. You may want to check for mold toxicity. It has been linked to many autoimmunes.

I am inspired by you and your story with Sjogren's Syndrome. I am also a SJS patient and I am been living with it for the half of my life. Sometimes when I watched a video of yours, it coincides that I am more or less in the same situation as you were. Now I make the best out of my life regardless of the flare which occurred often . You look great with your hair cut! And sorry for the lost of your dog. Stay strong and keep on walking 🚶♀️. This is what we have in common.

I am so sorry. I just found you on you tube. I also have Sjogrens Syndrome. I suffer with everything you spoke about as well. What have you been doing that’s been the most beneficial? Are you still gluten free? What meds are you on? Have you had any more Rituxan? Hope the kids and Eddie are doing great. Love your new look. I am so happy to hear (and see) more people with Sjogren's with short hair etc. I was so sad to have to cut my hair, but it's also such a relief to not have to stress about it anymore.

Meri, you look gorgeous even though I can see you have cried a river over the loss of your fur baby. I too lost my little one a year ago and I still cry but my little adopted cat has come into her own now it is just her and myself. I came across another video of yours by accident. So sad to hear of your loss...😔 You did the right thing, as Nitro isn't suffering anymore. Also, though I don't have Sjogren's disease I have other conditions, so as a fellow chronic person I can somewhat relate.
Have you thought about the local animal shelter? When you & the family are through grieving, maybe you should consider it. Admittedly one must be careful as with any shelter it's kind of a crapshoot, but there are plenty of dogs who need a good home. Also, I don't know what kind of dog Nitro was but certain breeds are _not_ known for longevity, particularly some of the large breeds. (Bullmastiffs are notorious for not living past six to eight years)

I love love your haircut. You look great with short hair. My condolences for your baby boy Nitro. I know exactly what your going through I hate this year very very much. I lost my mom to Cancer on the 7th of July. She suffered for 12 long long years. I miss her I love her so much but I know she no longer in pain. That's the only thing that keeps me sane

What are your symptoms?? I feel like i have this. I have dry mouth, nose, eyes. Depression. Tired. Swollen glands. But is doesn't make any sense because I am 24. (Today is my birthday. )
Hi Jessica. It is normal to be diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at your age. I was diagnosed at 15.
