I'm a SAHM of 4 boys, living with a chronic illness. I also have a special needs child who suffers with ADHD, anxiety and High Functioning Autism.
My name is Meredith (aka Meri) and I'm a stay at home mom of 4 boys (including twins). I also suffer from an autoimmune disease called Sjogren's Syndrome, which makes each day a little more challenging. I am also the mom of an ADHD ODD, Asperger's child.
Like most of you out there, I'm just a regular (crazy) chic trying to survive as a mom. I'm far from perfect, but I do my best to get through each day while keeping everyone alive. I also share what works for me for managing the day to day madness of being a family of 6.

Sis you are not alone I am 26 and was diagnosed with ss at 22. When you said in one of your flare videos that just doing the dishwasher can put u down I felt that. I have a 3 year old with autism and his father works way to much so I do it myself. I now have 6 autoimmune diseases and My rhumy said more will come. I don’t only have the dryness I have all the muscle and nerve pains. We literally go through hell and no one can really tell because we look fine on the outside. But you’re not alone I’m here and I would love to talk more I’m going to look on ig for u now I’m so happy I found you ❤️
I've had that kind of reaction to the flu shot too! It sent me into a huge flare that lasted a couple of weeks. Just because the doctor can't explain it doesn't mean it's not real!
Agreed. I have autoimmune issues,and had my gall bladder removed. I've had constant pain since and I'm so over doctors, I finally went in and as usual all my symptoms were ignored. Hope you feel better soon

Sorry about your bloodwork but I 100% understand. Doctor after doctor... I was finally sent to a university hospital and I cried when my ANA came back positive. I was thankful that they had proof! Of course I had several positives but from my primary doc and the specialist only trust their labs! I also have high sed rate and c reactive protein. I have for years but still no official diagnosis. My primary ran an early Sjogrens panel and I had a positive marker. I take plaquenil now and if not for that I would have absolutely no quality of life! I'm still having issues, I'm still in pain and I'm still fatigued but at least I'm able to get out of bed during the day. I can relate to you so much! Good luck and feel better!
I feel so sorry for you. I’m glad you could st least give us an update. You are good for me though, because in the feeling awful race, you are clearly winning. You are lucky you have Eddie who seems to be very understanding and helpful. I hope Thanksgiving works out for you.
I refused to host Thanksgiving this year.
I admire people who are able to do that but I cannot anymore due to my health issues
I think it's unfair for anyone (even yourself) to put a heavy burden on you to prepare food.
Please don't let expectations keep you from resting when you need to.
This seems to be common: I became very ill for 3 weeks after last year's flu shot. Please avoid the shot.
I feel ya...Hang in there! Keep an eye on your potassium too. I had the same symptoms (exhaustion, anemia, weight loss, loss of appetite) then they discovered I had renal tubular acidosis. Many folks in my Sjögren’s support group are reporting this as well. You are not alone.
I haven't been diagnosed yet but have all the symptoms. I already have an autoimmune skin problems. My face is swollen and painful. You make me feel like I;m not alone or crazy. I get up and get to the couch and sometimes have to take a nap. Just showering takes everything I have for the day. I feel like I always have the flu, constant headache, joint pain. The swelling around my eyes and sides of my face hurt. I think my family doesn't believe me.

Have you been to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota? You should go there at least to get a complete diagnosis. They WILL find out the problem. They are incredible!
My name really does not matter it is the purpose I come here with and that is the help you heal. I am going to share my thoughts about this thing they call sjogrens and what I am feeling because I am a care giver for someone who also has this and seemingly very severe although not as bad as she has told me you are suffering. She was never really given a diagnosis till about 4-5 months ago but it has been debilitating since things that happen in the mouth are like a bridle to a horse and very controlling of the entire body. I am wondering if you were ever tested for lyme disease because she was once told she had one strand and another dr told her she has had it for about 30 years. I mention this because I feel the underlying cause of all these mysterious illnesses is lythme due to the way it attacks and infiltrates the body. I do know she shared the info about the DR I discovered on youtube who seems to be very very knowledgeable about helping control your current problem and on youtube shares it including the proper meds and natural thing to use. The saliva thing has been the hardest to control. I am sorry you are suffering so and I have come here to help you get better.

You have spoken to me and told me to call you "Brother" my Lord Jesus Christ and where two or more are gathered in your name you promise to be here. Well as you read my words "Sister in Spirit" it means the two are here so please place your hand on the screen as you read these words for I am going to place my energy here to be able to reach you with my healing intentions and I have witnessed this work around the world when there have been people with great need. There is nothing more real than the Lord Jesus Christ who has visited me personally. Anyway. It is my intention for you to once again be able to fulfill your life and not be such a tortured. soul as this can easily do. I place my healing hand upon the screen and ask that this intrusion into your life be bound as never before and be sent back to the nothingness that it cam from and disappear for ever in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I mentioned lyme because I feel it is the underlying cAUSE of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I once went to a lecture about lyme and how the gov't is keeping it secret that so many people have it they could not afford to pay for the medical attention all these people would need. I am personally treating this woman for lyme with a natural cure I discovered reading a book called "miracles from the vault" many simple cures for many ailments. Samento drops for lyme. I only started it about a week ago so time will tell. I just feel it deep within my heart it is the cause of all these mysterious illnesses the way it manifests itself within the body. What to do and not to do when coming into a flare?
the flu shots make me ill for 2 wks. I stopped getting them it was so bad.

I'm new to your channel so forgive me if the things I'm about to say have been suggested already. You might want to cut out all meat and dairy from your diet. Juicing fresh antiinflammatory fruits and veggies when you can't eat will help as well. And be VERY careful with the meds the doctors are giving you, sometimes those meds will progress the illness faster. I hope this helps💜 I also suggested some other things under another video
when I cook I use a computer chair.It helps.

That's good (in a way) you finally have evidence of your illness in your bloodwork. I went to the dr for so many years to figure out what was wrong with me and they just decided over time I had a health anxiety disorder, so I took lexapro for years. My bloodwork always looked great. Then one day I donated blood, and found out soon after I had hepatitis c! I must have gotten it from my mom during childbirth bc she had it. Luckily, they have a cure now and I got it. I'm so grateful. However, the virus has done some damage to my body and I have a highly positive ANA. Life is wild. Hope you get more answers and good treatments. Happy Thanksgiving!
I wounder why dont ur rumotologist put u on prednisone if u fell better with it I m on prednisone for last 18 years. . you should counsult any other doctor .
Wow!! On prednisone for 18 years?? That is the worst drug to be on! It literally shuts down your immune system and leaves you vulnerable to everything out there and your body would be incapable of healing. It's also destroying your bones.
