Hi John sorry for the delay I was away yesterday. You mentioned in your vid a gap of about 1mm, this sounds too much. Might be worth adjusting this as they should be less than this to make a good spark. Good luck mate keep at it I'm sure you'll get there.
thanks for your help. Actually the gap that I mention in the video was about half a mm 0.5mm but when I adjusted the gap I found that it needed to be even less in order to trigger the CDI. the correct gap should be 1 thou min and 3 thou max which is extremely small. I have uploaded a second video yesterday about how I adjusted the pickup gap
what do you think could be wrong with the AF flywheel ? it is the only part that I have not substituted but it is only magnets ......what could be bad about that ?
@@aminemehdi2922 yes its all working brilliantly now thanks, if you look through my recent videos you will see how I fixed the no spark issue . It was the gap between the pickup and the magneto magnets was too large . The flywheel fitted is an electronic flywheel from AF raysteed it is a lightweight one.
@@johncooper7242 great happy to hear that. i also had and still have the sparking issue on my LI S3 i just finished a complete restoration , then i found out that beedspeed sent me the wrong stator i have ordered the one with points and i go the electronic one which it won't spaek with my existing flywheel. i am so new to the world of Lambretta which i very much love that's why it took me me time to figure it out lol. sharing with you the before and after web.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10217640852347848&set=pcb.10217640853787884&type=3&theater i hope that you like the work that have been done to it
