I love that you park your Lambretta in your living room. As they say - your pet should not live for you but with you. :-D I have a '65 Li150. Love her!
very good vedeo. amazing scooter tour. my uncle had one such model with two separate seats. separate seats with spring is very comfortable. this old scooter 1000 times better than any modern day scooter or bike. lambretta has a perfect engineering design with two separate seats .it's engine is centrally mounted and clutch housing , chain ,gear box are very good. it is far better than any modern bike or scooter. it is better than vespa which has one sideed engine andno front fork or hydraulic. very uncomfortable.with love from calcutta, india.
I really like that in UK you can swap the engine easily, change displacement, carb, and whatever just reporting it to DVLA. Exhaust pipe is completely demanded to the owner's choice, as not reported on paper. In Italy is easier to build a space shuttle than having modifications notified in the owner's paper. The tuning market in Italy is black market: you do tune your bike, and put back OEM parts to pass tests every 2 years, hoping that in the meantime you don't have any sort of accident, or being pulled by police. "Excuse me gentleman, your bike is pretty loud. Do you mind if we do a quick look around?" "Shit" "Pardon?" "I mean... Why not?"
It's even easier to have an old lambretta now as any vehicle more than 40 years old does not have to have any test ! . As long as you don't do anything outrageous to attract the police ( or the neighbours ) it's no problem .
This thing is wild. The wheels are so small that if you bump into a slightly big hole you just roll over and goodbye. It's almost like drive a two-wheeled lawnmower in high speed. Wild!
got the same bike , LI 125 , but got a 225 mugello in it . mugellos got a bad reputation for being slow , but had mine built by John at JB tuning , its got a 30mm delorto, with a franspeed supertourer ....... and its been tuned and ports and casing match , it goes really well and puts out 19.4 bhp on the dyno ....... built for motorway miles , but its hard work round town , can be boggy low down , and then take off like a scolded cat ........ for mile munching its great ........
Similar to mine. 1965 S3 Li 125 with Mugello 186, Dellorto 26ml PHBH, Ancillotti. Mine was incorrectly re-registered on a '68 plate though. Doesn't bother me. Mine has an SX headset and a really awful repro front mudguard but I love it. Owned it for 23 years now ✊
The Production and Sales of all the Variants of Lambretta Scooters must be immediately started again in India at the earliest possible as it is the best suitable scooter for India and all the Indians like this Scooter very much .
What app is that please , lovely scooter and yep get some thin to match your taste gloves buddy , first things down if the shit hits the fan , cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
Unreliable? I had a ‘59 series 1 Li150 and it was beaten to a pulp but it always started first or second kick and carried on like that throughout my apprenticeship and beyond. In the five or so years I had it it never let me down once.
Very nice bike. Your wife lets you keep it in the dining room? Or are you single lol. What's your top speed, not that that's a major concern on a scooter, who said,. I'll be too busy looking good!
@@donknee2410 that's what I'm thinking of doing what's involved from what I understand it will need the go bearing on one side and as I have the li electronic ignition I would need the gp flywheel
Cool toy, bit a cold start insinuates that the engine is actually cold. Keeping it indoor s then pushing it outside doesn't really constitute as a cold start.
A nostalgia delight for old-timers, and a charming curiosity for the youngsters.
Reminds me of my fathers Scooter, miss him and his Scooter 😢
😣

what a gleamer, and sounds pukka, too. i used to have a ld150 and this onboard vid reminded me of just how exciting it was to ride.

I often say "the made in Italy its not made for italians" saluti e in bocca al lupo!...(all this burocratic nightmare its only for businness cheers)
Nice one, My SX150 has been in mothballs for 13 years now. Missing so bad and cant wait to get back home and getting it up and running again .
That’s a lovely sounding bike, I’m hoping to get my rebuilt silver special back any day now, can’t wait
Don Knee - Down Knee more like. I thought the old girl was going to burst. Beautiful bike, beautiful.
Bella e perfetta.
That is real beauty and runs so smooth. A real credit to you. Bravo.
A gorgeous restored old scooter , I've always been tempted , i know i will get many replys , but these things are so unreliable !
Love exhaust smell ,sound every thing❤❤❤❤

You clearly do not ride scooters. They really are not wild in any way. 😊
A properly restored LI with a real seat nice one.
Miss my s 2 tv 175 greatly. 50years ago now.

Doubtless....A love affair. :) Thanks for sharing.
Nice looking Lambretta nippy to thanks for the share
Very healthy sounding engine.
Beautiful! stock... just how they should look
remembered my father, had 2 scooters in past years, one is vesba from 60s and the other is bajaj from 90s
lovely house
My dad used to have Lambretta Scooters but he sold them after he knew that I had a phobia of them even though now I’m totally fine with scooters.
Fabulous location with a test track right outside your door ...how lucky are you.!
Looks and sounds great. Nice run .......thanks for sharing
It mesmerizes me.
Its cool how u change gear
I had this exact set up, only with the mugello 200 cylinder. I found it to be a bit gutless, but I'm told the 186 is a better cylinder.
60mph on a 65’ scooter! FairPlay that man! 👍🏻

Damn why don't my Vespa run like this. This thing BOOKS! Love it! I mean this thing is MINT!

Great set up, had a mugello on my Special before i sold her. One thing though, please wear gloves!!!!
Great video and great scooter. The Lambretta is my favorite scooter, much better than a Vespa. I love my Lambretta 125.
Excelente motoneta puro poder
Clever lad.
Tried slipping an old scrap of wetsuit material in the door when you shut it, then close it back up and ride-on.. rattle- free.
Bit of a time-shock there - who would have thought of an Li125 and a Smartphone appearing together!
Bellissima ....
Lord I want one.
Nice pal however my mate as the series 4 in sky blue also keeps it in house lol
I love lumbrreta scooter
Love it😍🤤

That can't be Hertfordshire as you would have met 56 cars down that country lane by now ;-)
Boss ! , very pure scooter ! , most loving company ! , real genius ! ; 🐕 ! , 🍌🍊 🐒 ! ! .

Just watch out for the slimy leaves this time of year. I Speak from experience - ouch !!

exsoulagent Absolutely right. I was lucky. A moment of madness. Anyone watching this: ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES & PROTECTIVE GEAR. Thank you
@@donknee2410 I got hands peeled like lemons crashing with the bicycle, I can't imagine what it would be if crashing with a motorbike.
👍
How much are these worth just seen a restored one for 5 thousand England?
wooo
Scooter wasn't cold.
Is that running the standard li crank
I think I swapped to a gp crank
@@donknee2410 that's what I'm thinking of doing what's involved from what I understand it will need the go bearing on one side and as I have the li electronic ignition I would need the gp flywheel
What color is you painted?
What else do you have in the engine? Crank? 12v?
Moteur d’origine ? Tu prends combien ?
"cold start" it was sitting indoors xD
Cold start means being started after a while
Cool toy, bit a cold start insinuates that the engine is actually cold. Keeping it indoor s then pushing it outside doesn't really constitute as a cold start.
The Paint Is White o gray?
New White (Bianco Nuovo)
Thought what the rattling was 🤣🤣🤣
The damn tool box doors on any scooter, vespa, lambretta, whatever you try and do to suppress the noise they always bloody rattle at high speed.
SLOW DOWN those brakes and tiers are not up to 60 + MPH 50 MPH ride safely .ITS A BEAUTY.
So fast for basic scaffolding bar design,.....With transportation originally designed for nipping down the shops on,L would had shat myself !.
It speed around 100kmph
2stroke?
Yes, 2 Stroke
What app was you using
