Sharks tooth is the small clip that helps hold the legshield beading on at the bottom of the legshield by the outside runner. The front exhaust bracket that bolts directly into the engine is commonly called shark's fin.
@@MartinHyland-ty2rh I spoke to AF and they said that you don’t need to run it with down pipe spring. It’s optional as the likeness of the exhaust disconnecting is minimal as the fitment is so tight.
Great watch, love your Dad's Lambretta Beautiful clean line's no bits and bobs hanging off it, nice paint work, im nearly your father's vintage and as i said want to buy a running Lambretta not to fussy about abit of rust or dents that's the family game panel beating respray but crap at mechanics, even do watching you and 2 others i reckon id sort it out eventually, always can go online ask you guys for advice, your an inspiration kid ☘️
@@Danpiper09 My AF had a similar colour scheme to your dads, except my legshields and frame were silver and the metalflake was reversed on the side panels. 34 mm Amal powerjet carb. I got into racing a few years later and had many conversations with Dave Webster on expansion chamber design. (tricky technical stuff) Well done buddy, it's nice to see someone who has a passion for Lammys.
@@Garen65 sounds good!! I’m trying to learn it, but you are right, it’s a dark art, very technical!! Thank you for watching. More videos coming soon 😊😊
Vespas looking good. Best advice with the vespa is use ACF50 and spray it into the cavity under the footplate and underbody/mudguard.Assuming youre riding all year. It is amazing at prohibiting rust.
Lol lammies are great but also shit. i had a GP 200 stage 4 af tune, 42mm reverse cone vw muffler home made exhaust, wal phillips fuel injector ( 8 mile range i shit you not on a full 1.9 gallon tank of fuel) 30mm amal carb 79mph this was 1979 and was faster than my mates brand new gp 200 af extra s type and handled like shit but stopped fast due to reverse pull front disc brake, the good old days nice scooters btw.

@@Denscaff82 thank you. I appreciate you !!!!
I hope that you replaced the stud, washer and nut at the rear of the casing and also fitted the spring/s on the down pipe.
@@MartinHyland-ty2rh we did ! Had problem getting the spring on. But eventually got it on off camera.

The new exhaust sounds like an old style Fresco from the 1980s, I had an AF200 back then but I just kept with the reverse cone and VW tailpipe.
@@Garen65 love that!!!
