- Legends of WoW is a series in which Mike interviews someone from the WoW scene, be it content creators, high end players etc. to see what their experience was like in World of Warcraft. This was initially filmed as part of an unreleased video and was recorded during Shadowlands Beta.
Today's episode is about Zalgradis, a legendary content creator from Vanilla.

His bit where he ganks people in orgrimmar, with the 2H from Zul'Gurub, in full shadowcraft, is my favorite WoW video of all time.
Used to play with Zal loads on Al'Akir - PVP, PVE, grinding furbolgs in Felwood to get a ridiculously low drop rate item for a mutual friend. Good times and great to hear his voice after all these years. What a blast from the past. Hope you're well Zal, Rick (Falithon)

This guy zalgradis is the reason my friends and I all play alliance today, I saw his video and immediatley stopped playing my druid and rolled a pally and did everything he did in the videos was such a great time !
I would love to suggest '' Luptis ''. I know he made me re-roll from a mage to a NE hunter called '' Laptos '' (I know, I was young) the moment I saw his first video. And I am sure that he made PLENTY of other people reroll hunter. He was amazing, yet so simple and his video were just great and well edited.
I believe he is a Vanilla hunter legend.

This is the guy who brought me and my irl buddy to wow back in the day, true legend.
man these videos are soo good.. I love how even preach is simping for this guy because i totally understand where that is coming from.. I started playing wow at 13 years of age in TBC and my childhood Hero and the reason i started raiding as early as Karazhan back then was a guy called Zkygge from SK gaming and i remembering making a character on his server and whispering him that one day i would be as good as him. and i remember getting an answer like "Good luck :)" and now as i am playing TBC classic with a far more mature mindset i am actually having a blast and it makes me remember all the dumb things i did back then and that i can actually experience the game that i didnt quite understand back then because my english was always trash.

Absolutely pleasure to hear this interview with Zalgradis. He was the very first wow content maker i watched, and I am so glad that he might start streaming. Thank you Preach for this interview.
Man I've seen zalgradis 3 just about 20+ times I think! Absolute legend and inspiration. Was also on Al'Akir in vanilla, but on horde.
What a throwback, miss those days! I also played a pally named Scorpion, me and Monkeybeer are still in touch these days but he didnt have time to play classic. Btw Preach, we also played together in Darkstorm and met in Manchester :)!

Hello, from Windy the shaman if you still remember me. Zalgradis i had no idea you keept playing after our shinanigans in vanilla and tbc. Would be nice to catchup and see how life has been for you and see if you still are playing the game. I also remember the Darkstom boys and hope they aswell have it well nowadays!

Al'Akir EU Ally gang! I was part of Pandion Knights for T1, did T2 with The Wyvern Kratos and after AQ joined Midnight Reveries for T3. Good times! I remember being in some of the bg premades and AV with Zal, great to hear he's still around. One of the best moments from Al'Akir: Crashing the server on AQ launch while we were all on mouted in a massive line (Ally left, Horde right) waiting for the gong to be hit and then relogging in to see the massive elites swatting everyone that was still in their loading screen unable to act.
TWK hunter here, night elf by the name Oxygenre and played with the guild during T2 as well. I remember the AQ event well and I have so many screenshots from that day, as well as raid screenshots with all the TWK people. I still go through them from time to time. One of my earliest screenshot is of Zalgradis in his full T1 walking around SW:

i remember when we were outside aq40 waiting for summons etc. and zalgradis was just chilling with us (horde) all the time:D damn those vanilla raiding days...

Ahh good old days of seeing SOTG peeps afking in ironforge, Thinking "Damn, that guy is cool". Was nice to have some Alliance destroying the horde on my server, As every PvP I would play was always won by Horde majority of the time, except AV.
I think weapon names faded after Cata for me. After picking up Gurthalak Voice of the Deep, nothing else even came close to sticking in my memory. That was probably the most broken weapon but so fun that Blizzard ever released.

I remember an epic 1hour 20minute WSG game vs SotG where we won 3 flags to 2. My favorite and most memorable game. Zal was part of that game. Fond memories

@@falithon The Wyvern Kratos, Midnight Reveries and SotG from vanilla to TBC :) Wrath a lot of us moved to Auchindoun and he had to namechange.

Got to play with Grim and his brother (Dragoon) in BC. Ran into Lylz during the Dota 2 beta way back.
Zalgradis still plays in TBC although I don't see him online very often. You can find him in bloodfang EU

Zal seems like such a standup guy. Such as legend for us WoW nerds.
As for the people who are online 23 hours out of the day -- cocaine/methamphetamine addiction is real. Thankfully I'm in recovery, but I've been there.
It kind of blows my mind that Preach has never heard of Tales From the Past. When the third movie was released it was all my server was talking about. It was huge.

Ive always had my way with loot as my healer pala here in classic wow. First hand of rag in my guild. Burrower shell and the recent first might of menethil. With lootcouncil its all possible for everyone get cool loot if you can earn it and prove it! Raid loot and pvp loot is differentiated. Larah from aftermath here. We played on the same server in bloodfang. Now playing on gehennas with order of bacchus.

Ultima online is a true mmo RPG your choices in skills were almost permanent and you essentially had to have alt characters maximizing crafting skills
This dude and his videos are the reason we lost the Original pally talents back in the infamous talent rework. Made Kevin Jordan think that maybe pally shouldn't have access to reckoning, divine favor, illumination, vengence, redoubt, Spiritual guidelines and seal of command at the same time lol.
I remember that person trying to pretend to be Zalgradis. (I'm one of the original Immersion players, got recruited when MR and SotG merged. I'm Incarnia). I did have some interaction with that person, but, yeah, instantly noticed it was someone else. Quite unnerving though. Someone doing that. Especially since he wasn't even trying to excuse it either, when pointing out to him that I can tell he isn't Zal. Got slapped with an Ignore.

Classic wow is definitely not vanilla wow. There was absolutely no cross server business. You had to have a server community to do anything raid wise. The cool part was you got to learn the opposing factions best pvp players and recognized names constantly

Sleeping 4 hours a night??? I'm nonfunctional if I sleep fewer than 7.
Military sleeps 4 - 6 (if you’re lucky ) a night your body gets used to it
@@JDmix123 it really doesn't. It is highly damaging to both your body and brain to be sleep deprived, especially if it goes on for long periods of times. You can't avoid that effect on your wellbeing and health by getting your body "used to it". It doesn't work like that biologically. However, there are a genetic mutation, in some humans, which reduce the amount of sleep their body and brain needs to about 4-5h's a day. A regular adult need at least 7-8hours of quality sleep a day to function as intended, but those people only need about half of that for the same result.
@TheDanish Preach might be a person with the genetic mutation which enables him to function well on just 4hours of sleep. Where his brain manages to complete the cleaning and regenerative process in 4-5h's that otherwise takes 7-8h's for the majority of the human population.
@@Telindra I don’t think it’s that bad I’m pretty sure for thousands of years we adapted and survived not getting 8 hours of sleep a night. Now it may be better and recommended but I don’t think only getting 4- 5 hours of sleep a night is going to be super detrimental once your body has adapted

ahh man i hate to be so negative but these have been a huge dissapointment to me. i initially thought this series would be a documentary type like your "Legacy of" Videos. love your videos so this comes from a place of love only. would really like to see some more of the documentary/presentation type videos imo they are some of your best content and have watched almost all of them more than id care to admit.
I'm wondering, when "Legends of WoW - Asmongold" is going to happen :D
