The fact that he says Steph is a pg but not the primary ball handler contradicts his whole point of Steph being "one dimensional". It shows Steph can dominate without the ball.

Not to mention Curry's gravity causes defenses to send 2 to 3 defenders at him immediately past half court which allows his teammates to get open looks. That guy is one dimensional?

I remember when Mike James tried to dunk on Hassan Whiteside. He has some good highlights too but that’s still the one that always comes to mind when I think of Mike James
Steph didn't change the game just from his shooting. He changed the game to be more positionless, he changed the game being a point guard without the ball half, if not most of the time, lol. He evolved the way the game is played with his style, and approach to the game and selflessness which is obviously not just about his shooting. Steph has SO many dimensions that if anything he might have the most! Lol! Not only does he have so many dimensions, but he's made it his mission to master them all
Trae Young should be running off of picks. He is literally built for the same offense. Prove that it is easy, Trae. Or any small guard. CP3 tried and failed to win. So we only have Isaiah Thomas as the other great small guard. So I can't take anyone serious trying to underplay Curry's work.

You see how narratives are spun. Out of thin air, Chris is adding fuel to the KD is jealous of Steph narrative. You can’t say something inflammatory and then try to hide behind the notion that you’re just asking questions.
He’s always been a kd hater since 2007 literally. He was interviewing kd after game during his rookie and kept rolling his eyes when 18yr old kd answered his questions so nothing new
And also get plenty of steals. Haters always say steals are not real defense, which is dumb thing to say. A steal means you just took away your opponent's scoring chances.
Why do these mediocre and failed players think they have any right to comment on the validity of people who have achieved actual success? Notice that he compared Steph Curry to much bigger players like Giannis and Embid. Besides that fact that Steph isn't one-dimensional, you cant compare what a small guard can do to a center or a forward. As for these comments about how a point guard should play, I think that comment alone explains why his career cant compare to Steph. He's inflexible. Steph Curry is off the ball more because he's a better scorer than distributer. That doesn't mean he's bad at it but Golden State also has a power forward who's a better distributer than a pure PF and guess that, that unusual stance that those two take have gotten them 4 titles and two MVPs. Haters gonna hate.
He's right in that Steph's game is one sided because he's 6'4 or under being a piece, he can't influence the game like an Anchor can. He's still the greatest piece of all-time, the absolute best player under 6'4 of all-time, Steph's the MJ of small ball. - Fact's
I think people are still trying to wrap their minds around a 6’3” guard being so dominate. Steph can go one on one. The Warriors just don’t run that a lot because it’s not efficient basketball. But a lot of people also seem to argue a player’s greatness based off how good they would be one on one. It’s a team sport.
Idk. I saw him driving on players that were way bigger. He kept taking the Celtics straight to the cup. And he's much better defensively than people would like to admit. He holds his ground and doesn't disappear on defense.
What is this blasphemy. Steph influences the game even when he doesn't have the ball. He's a really good team defender and when Draymond is off the court he's the one directing traffic on the defense

Steph Curry is off the ball more because he's a better scorer than distributer.
