Agreed. I feel like with each new week, there should be a different location for the conversations to take place. i.e., Taro and Amai talk in the picnic area, Hanako to the plaza fountain, Kizana to the gymnasium stage, Megami in the Student Council room, Osoro in the incinerator area, etc. Otherwise, it just gets repetitive and boring and it's weird from a realistic perspective. There could be a prompt on the screen that says "Follow Senpai and (rival) to listen into the conversation of the day- optional" and it shouldn't disappear after three seconds. It should stay on the screen for like 20 seconds.
Alex has stated in a recent interview that he finds speedruns amusing to watch and he enjoys watching players try to exploit the game. This is hilarious because it's such a blatant lie. I'm sure even posting a speedrun to his discord will get you a new world record for getting banned. He detests speedruns of his game and while I understand the need to nerf exploits, especially if many bugs happen as a result, and how he will be hated regardless, it should not be the main focus, and also it gets him gets dunked on even more. Regular players looking to play the game as it should be won't care to speedrun and won't even attempt it, which I would say is MOST players of YanSim. We want the experience, not the quickest way to complete the game. I can't recall a single big RUclipsr attempting to beat YanSim in a record-breaking time because that's how little of a priority it is.
Game dev here. Even the smallest of glitches can lead to more critical bugs, especially if they stack up. All glitches need to be fixed. I get that Yandev is a bad person but making a controversy out of fixing bugs? Come on, don't stoop so low.
I think what op meant is yandev preferring to quickly fix bugs that hurt his own ego instead of focusing on main elements/bugs/glitches in the game. I also don't mind him fixing these, but considering yandere dev's history, I doubt that he made those changes focusing on the gameplay/user base's experience. He got mad about "invalid speed runs" due to his shitty coding.
I think Yandev should probably do the Hello Neighbor route where certain methods get shut off of you do them, and have each route at least different enough to not have the same speedrun method. And even if that’s the case it’s not like the game should focus on speedrunning.
Like, IF he doesn’t focus too much on this rival and not on the general bugs. I remember one of the fixes is to just have a rival smell gasoline, but that would be better for a future rival, especially if you already did that elimination.
To paraphrase a comment under the original video: Games like GTA and Fallout have been speedrun in less than 15 minutes, but people will still sit down to play them for hours because of their gameplay and story. What does it say about Yanderedev when he's trying to keep people playing for more than 2 minutes?

He shouldn’t put every rival talking to senpai in the morning in the same place

- No! I've been making this game for 10 years! You can't complete it in 1 minute!
