What an amazing October, I am reading Poppy Harmon now and thought the same thing, total Gladdy Gold. I am really enjoying it. I am so glad you loved the Mountain Lodge series. It is a favorite. My favorite read of October was probably Fondue or Die or The Spellshop. I loved them both so much
Wow October was a good month for you. I spent a lot of my reading time looking at cookbooks for new recipes, especially soups. Hope you're enjoying your November📚 picks. 🍁🦃🍁
My favorite read in October was Jane Eyre. I had to read this in h.s. and didn't like or appreciate it. Oh my!!!! I loved this book, beyond love it! My most 2nd favorite book of all time was "Wuthering Heights also by Charlotte Bronte. Jane Eyre has taken it's place! I think I like the Brontes better than Jane Austen. I wrote down quite a few recommendations from you, thanks as usual Amy🤗
Hi Amy Marie, hope you are well. You’ve given me a lot of titles for my TBR notebook. My favourite read of October was a cosy mystery collection of novellas called Christmas Card Murder by Leslie Meier, Lee Hollis and Peggy Ehrhart. Enjoy your Autumnal reading!
You had a great reading month. My favorite were nightmare in Halloween hollow and choas at the lazy bones bookshop and murder with a hint of pumpkin spice.
You had a great reading month! I just picked up a book from the library by Jan Fields that is part of Annie's Amish Inn series. I have been enjoying this series. My favorite read of October was Book, Line and Sinker by Jenn McKinlay. The Library Lovers series is a good one! Hope your November is going well!🧡
You had a GREAT reading month! My October reads started strong but the last ones I read were not so good. I was very disappointed by the last 2 I read. November is starting strong too, as I'm reading A Trip with Trouble and starting the Library Lovers series! Hopefully the rest of the month is just as strong!
Looks like you had a great reading month! Mine was pretty good too. Definitely a better month than the past few for me. My favorite book was a middle grade called The Pumpkin Princess and the Forever Night. Great book for Halloween. 5 stars! I also finally read The Wishing Game and loved that as well.
You had a great reading month! You read so many cozies I'm interested in reading. Snow Place Like Home was my favorite book in that series. I love the Yeti chapters. I want to get to the Deputy Donut series next year. I've put it off due to the lack of audiobooks after book 3 but you're sparking my interest in it again. I also had a great reading month. My favorite reads in October were Boulevard of Broken Creams by Sarah Fox, A Berry Suspicious Death by Peg Cochran, Scooping Up Scandal by Emmie Lyn, and In the Blink of a Pie by Catherine Bruns. I enjoyed all of them and recommend them. I also read two Christmas new releases but they didn't hit for me right now. Although, I have been listening to Christmas music in the car and loving it. Go figure.
Thank you so much Cat! So excited that you loved Snow Place Like Home 💙I need to get ahold of that book. I hope you enjoy the Deputy Donut series if you continue it. I'm really liking it! I really want to read Boulevard of Broken Creams by Sarah Fox 💚
I read via audible A trip with trouble and I really like that book and I decided to read the first one in the series as well and I just got done with that and also really liked it so I'll definitely be listening to the third one in the series. 😊
The best one I read last month was And There He Kept Her by Joshua moehling . I was scared to read it so it sat on my shelf for years but it was really really good! 4.5 ⭐️
Also enjoyed Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop Tonya Kappes' Columbus DayvComundrum was a fun read Currently reading Fondue or Die. Have copies of Murder at the Dinner Party and In The Blink of Pie to read next
You have some fun reads. Here were my reads for October. Most were fall or Halloween cozies but a few were in the order of my series readings. I first read Seven Year Witch by Angela M. Sanders the second Witch Wat Librarian book (I loved how she is developing her powers to communicate better with her books). Paws and Effect by Sofie Kelly (Magical Cats #8), Nothing Bundt Trouble by Ellie Alexander (Jules learns more about her father, as an amateur genealogist this really interested me whan you can find old letters or journals about your family), Apple Turnover Murder by Joanne Fluke (skipped ahead to #13 of Hannah Swenson, saving #12 to read in December since is set at Christmas time), , The Diva Haunts a House by Krista Davis (Domestic Diva #5 which was a fun romp & is there a vampire living in Sophie's community haunted house that she's decorating?), Fatal Fried Rice by Vivien Chien (Noodle Shop #7, I always enjoy the Noodle Shop mysteries & Lana's & Megan's friendship), Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie (I have read the Miss Marple and Parker Pyne short stories but this was my first Christie novel. ) When the Crow's Away by Auralee Wallace (An Evenfall Witches B&B #2. This book was so good. I'm sad to read that the publisher Berkeley has decided to end the series, the story is not finished!) Halloween Party Murder by Leighann Dobbs (Juniper Holiday Cozy Mystery Book, a nice quick read with ghosts who were formerly servents of Juniper) & finally The Foe of Barnabas Collins by Marilyn Ross (#9 of the Dark Shadows series, I read some of these when I was a preteen ahem, manyy years ago when they first came out. I'm slowly continuing the series). I want to read the Mail Carrier series by Tonya Kappes next year.
That's an amazing list! 💜I love the Noodle Shop mystery series too!!! I'm so sorry to hear that the Evenfall Witches series was ended prematurely. I hope you enjoy the Mail Carrier series by Tonya Kappes! The audiobooks have been so fun.
I read A Trip With Trouble in September. I liked it and will be picking up Snow Place For Murder this month or next. Do you know if she will have any other books in the series? I have tried to search and find out, but haven't come across anything? I hope she continues on with the series. I also purchased The Plot And The Pendulum by Jenn McKinlay, but never got around to reading it. I am currently reading her newest book A Merry Little Murder Plot. I am about halfway through and really enjoying it. I went to my local library last week and they had so many cozies out on a couple shelves for winter/Christmas. I grabbed about 7-8 books (mostly Christmas themed). I wanted so many more, but had to restrain myself and keep it to a manageable level. I always want to grab everything and have to talk myself down to what I know I will be able to get to. LOL 😄 I need to pick up Sleep Tight. That sounds up my alley. I like thriller/horror books and do read them at night! 😳 😆
I've been wondering the same thing! I can't find anything about a book three and I really hope it continues 💙I'm the exact same way when I'm at the library 😂I'm impressed that you read thriller/horror books at night. I wouldn't sleep with something that scary.

I liked The Woman in the Window. I didn't care for his next book. Couldn't get into it.
Sorry you didn't love his next book as much 😞
