I love the way you talk about books. It's so intentional & considering.
That sweater is EVERYTHING
I am not sure if you ever read manga, but Witch Hat Atelier totally hit that cozy fantasy craving I had!!
If you are ever looking for something outside of the normal, I highly recommend it!
Love the Fall decor and your sweater!
First of all, I’m obsessed with your mushroom sweater! Secondly, I also enjoyed Map of the Otherlands more than book 1, loved them both! Third, I thoroughly enjoyed hearing your review of Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice and you throwing the book at the end of the review was amazing 😂👏🤦♀️ And lastly, I’m so glad you enjoyed The Ex Hex after a painful search for the perfect cozy fall book! That one was cute, definitely forgettable like you said, but great fall vibes 🎃
October was an amazing reading month for me, I loved every book I read! I read The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, The Spellshop, Rewitched, One Dark Window, Warbreaker, Beartown, and Vampires of El Norte! Some books on my November TBR include All The Colors of the Dark, Rhythm of War, The Thirteenth Tale, and Us Against You 📚
Ah thanks! One of my fav thrift store finds. :)
I want to read The Storied Life of AJ Fikry really badly! That one is HIGH on my list. I also just bought The Spellshop and I'm really excited to read it. I started One Dark Window yesterday and I'm about 30 pages in - I'm really excited to dive back into a fantasy like this one.
That sweater is the cutest 🍄
My favorite from October was An Ember in the Ashes and least favorite was The Pumpkin spice cafe.
November I'm planning on reading The Green Mile by Stephen King
Added ministry of time on my Libby account! TY!
I thought you were going to say you read and didn't like The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore. IMO , it was Gilmore Girls with some spice. It was a good palate cleanser and a quick read. 🧡🎃
I've been busy with work so I've read 3 books in October
1) The audiobook of Beyond the Wand by Tom Felton. I loved this. Rated it a 4.5
2) The audiobook of Why I no longer talk to white people about race by Reni Eddo-Lodge. 4.75/5
3) Evolution a Graphic Guide by Dylan Evans. 2.75/5 due to it being overly against Christianity.
Book Swap sounds incredible and has just been added to my tbr
For my Nov tbr, I have 3 books I am reading for my work in church ministry that I would like to finish
1) Life is for giving by Andy Rider - a small booklet about discerning your calling
2) Easy to read Bible Summary for teens and adults by Michael Kotch - a really cool book I would highly recommend so far
3) How Village Churches Thrive by Various People - incredibly helpful for my job
A good one for spooky vibes with a little bit of everything (magic, romance, mystery) I highly recommend Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs 😊
Ooh thanks so much for the recommendation! Sounds right up my alley.
I'm really looking forward to reading the Ministry of Time. Tbh I skipped a bit of your video (🤭) because I absolutely don't want to know anything about that book because I just know I'm going to love it and I want to go into that book without any expectations (besides the fact that I obviously have very high expectations... I know I'm not making sense😂😂)!
Dude I totally get it - skip away!! I hope you enjoy it. :)
Next year you should read A Dark and Secret Magic!! I read it last in October and it's set in the last week of October so it was perfect. It's similar to the Ex Hex in my opinion
Ooooh thank you for the recommendation! I definitely need to make a note of it. I'm such a seasonal reader, haha.
