Very good video! I love Elden Ring and in many ways it is From's best game. Personally I do think that some gameplay choices make for a weaker experience, specifically when it comes to boss fights. I don't know the design process but it seems like they gave bosses a lot more AOE attacks than usual, to counter the summon mechanics. The result was that I generally didn't enjoy the bosses as much as in other From Software games, where there's more emphasis on rythmic gameplay. My experience is that AEO attacks halt the flow of the fight, which can be fine when used moderately. I would've liked if they had balanced it so they did fewer AOE attacks when you don't summon. Maybe I'm in the minority. But other than that, I enjoy the game immensely. 🙂
I definitely think they messed up with some of the bosses. Malenia has a borderline impossible to dodge move, Mohg litters the floor with blood lava, and I'm pretty sure Rykard has an attack you legit can't dodge. But despite these issues, I still think this game was really good.
Dark Souls 1, Bloodborne, and Sekiro are still the top tier games in the series, but I'll never forget the wonder I had during my first playthrough of Elden and that's something that Elden has over the other games.
