Sitting on the board would have been such an obvious solution, even if it sounds kind of dumb. It would have been better than walking.

    in antofagasta, chile..we usually just use the frontslide or foot drag to reduce the speed or get stopped by complete, it's nice to know new ways to stop in a city full of hills
    what i like the most is the frontslide but without getting stop, just to reduce speed in mid of a down hill

    Powerslides for me are easier on fast speeds with medium to rough concrete, somewhere in thhe middle there. I just use the powerslide to take away speed if theres a hill. Its more like a powerslide, then turnback to keep riding, its helps me stop at low speeds and not get flat wheeled, it took a lot of cuts and scratches to learn so wear padding if your wanting to learn it, buts its a cool looking, and excellent way to lower your speed

    • @chonkyyeetus9827
      @chonkyyeetus9827 3 года назад +4

      Theres also 2 methods of stoping i learned outside of this video, 1st - the wheelbite. If you have loose enough trucks, lean hard to you right, the board will stop conpletely, only downside is you wont stop conpletely😬, 2nd - the pebble, the easiest one to do accidentally, i mean it does the job for you. So skill level : beginner, risk: Extremely high

    Don't care what they say or how many boards I'll razor tail - sliding on you tail on smooth pavement is fun...specially when you get a nice spin - also helped me master manuals when I was first starting

      Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kindness and support! We put everything into making these for you. More awesome videos coming soon for you and use the new playlists for lessons in order. Please help me share this channel with your friends online so I can keep making videos and help more people like yourself. I want all these videos to help the world so I posted them for free, but free won’t pay for more videos so I am also requesting donations to fund more videos and keep the channel alive. Venmo @JoshBalogh or PayPal Details in description box of each video if you choose to support. Have a great skate! 💙🛹💙
