    We almost have the same setup with the battery on top and this helped me get my crane 3s setup just right! Thank you so much!

    Nice video mate, the top handle trick is a nice touch! Gonna give this a go with my Crane 3s and 6kpro

      Thank you :) If you use a smaller Allen wrench you don't need to remove the battery. I have a smaller one in my backpack that I take with me to shoots. Works even better.

      Do you have examples of the footage from the gimbal and BMPCC6K 🎥👍

      @@rashpalsagoo11 Thank you. I shot most videos on the Full Throttle 4x4 channel. Here is a highlights video. The gimbal was used a lot. ruclips.net/video/wwPUYihFxck/видео.html. I also have a wedding video on our channel, birthday video and marriage proposal on our channel that was shot with the gimbal.

    Hey nice vid. Does the Image Transmission work without plugging the USB cable in the camera? Because i want to record to ssd like you and See Image on a phone.

    • @scenicshoots
      @scenicshoots  2 года назад

      Thank you. The Zhiyun image transmitter "works". It fits in the gimbal. It connects to the camera using an extra hdmi cable that you need to buy and you can record to the ssd. When you buy the cable you need to super glue the end that goes into the transmitter because it gets so hot it pulls out when you pull it out of the transmitter after a session. The lag is huge. When you play back for your client you need to first tell them about the lag or they will think the recording is bad because the sound is out of sync. The connection might also be very bad and you will have to manually switch channel after channel after channel in the hopes to get a good channel. That can take a minute per switch and if your client is looking at the screen it isn't great. I have not tested other transmitters but this one is rather bad I would say.

      The Zhiyun transmitter works and plugs into the gimbal but the version 1 isn't great. I would look at maybe version 2 or something else

    How can I connect black magic 6k video mode with crane 3s

    • @scenicshoots

      I don't control the Blackmagic with the Crane 3S at all. I have a manual prime lens so that I done by hand and any settings are set on screen

    does anyone know if the gimbal can handle the 6k pro with a cage on it and the sigma 18-35?
    Also, does the baseplate that comes from Zhiyun work fine?

    • @scenicshoots
      @scenicshoots  2 года назад

      I can't guarantee it but I believe it will be fine. The bracket the camera sits on can move down a lot more than I have it. It can also move a lot further out than what I have it

    Hi! WHat kind of motor strenght do you using with that setup? Do you have any wobble problems?

    • @scenicshoots
      @scenicshoots  2 года назад +2

      Hi. I I can't remember the names, I am not connected at the moment to the gimbal but I believe it is the low, low-medium and medium with this setup. I have to change on the fly. It depends on wind it seems. I don't have wobble. You will see I uploaded a Diwali celebration video. I used the gimbal on a Came-TV stabilizer-kit for 2 hours strait. No wobble. Use the handle moving trick. You also need to make sure you have the Rotating axis/bottom motor, perfect balanced. You need to lift the whole setup, place it against your chest and then make sure the camera does not tilt.

    Fine video but the roll axis is not balanced correctly, it should not fall back in level by its self when you take your hands of it. it should be the same as for the tilt and pan axis and stay still where ever you take your hands of it.
    This causes the roll axis motor doing a job it is not meant to do and it will struggle then you are doing the type of shot where you will control the roll axis rolling the camera in the shot.

      @scenicshoots  2 года назад

      Thank you for your comment. I don't see how else it can be balanced. If it is too far left or right it will drop in that direction. If you have one of these gimbals and create a balance video you can post it here and I will add it to the description as another way of balancing the gimbal.

      @@scenicshoots It could possible be the structure on the camera rig, I am not sure thought because my pockets and Ursa Mini Pro G2 do balance easily.
      Possible if you remove the handle from the camera or the hood is causing it somehow or the barndoor (sunshade) on the hood or something else, it is hard to tell not having this gear you gave in my hands to test my self.
      I have not done any balancing videos thought I wish I had, to much work on my hands but here is a video showing how it is suppose to behave when balanced on all axis, hope it helps or gives some idea.
      Sorry about bad quality in that video

      @@joicam123 Thank you for that video. I wish he would show how he gets to that point. It almost looks like the locks are half engaged. I don't see how he can get it like that. None of the other videos that I could find shows how the roll axis performs after they set it. Not even the video from the manufacturer. Seems this guy has the answers.

      @@scenicshoots Sorry, this is my video that I I made to show a college of mine how it should be behaving on all axis, I did not have the time to make balancing video because I were getting ready for some filming when I made this video.

      @@joicam123 Aah. All good. Seems you have some skills then :) I have never had the roll axes like that with my Blackmagic setup. Seems the gimbal is strong enough to handle that error on my side.

      @@HalloFilmz Yes. You can put it in a mode that will rotate the camera but I think you will put a lot of strain on the gimbal if you keep it in that orientation. I film in 6k and have more area around my subject so that I can reframe later to vertical if I need that. Then I have horizontal and vertical
