Maybe the most epic introduction ever?? I already tackled this on a pair of keyboards (see below). This time, I wanted to implement the sustain pickup on my fantastic Burny Les Paul. I love this guitar, and these pickups can make it sound like the horns from the original score. Anyway, I hope you like it!

I agree with everybody else: great tone!!
surprised by the lack of views and you should do this on americas got talent!
A powerful piece, whether played by a symphony or an amazing guitarist!
Such a nice comment, thank you!
killer tone
Perfect!!!!!!!!!!
So fun, very sci fi version. I was super curious to hear how you did it. I do it as a chord melody flipping back and forth between an open C to Cmin root 5 then I add the fingers to the 6th string for the boom, boom, boom Timpani part. It's a pretty cool method. Yours almost reminds me of one of the sound tracks from Space Mountain in CA without me loosing my stomach while listening. LOL!
Always such a treat when you post, thanks so much for sharing with us.
Thank you! That's a good way to play it also! I just decided to let the backing track do that work for me and concentrate on the sustainer:)
@@MarkKlett I did a true version (not watered down) of Carmina Burana about 10 years ago as a chord melody. That opening sequence about stretched my fingers to near Paganini length, but it was fun. I need to dig out the music and do it again.
You always add something to your songs and best of all you do it with taste in mind. The age old battle of stay true to the source or recreate it is unsolvable, but your dashes of ornaments and voicings always impresses.
OMG-- Yeeessssss!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Hehe, so glad you liked it!
Nicely done Sir
Thank you kindly!
Bravo Sir. Awesome.
Thank you sir!
@@MarkKlett I forgot to say this:- When a person can play a piece of music, which in itself is magnificent, the way you do. Surely you, yourself, are the peoples hope. That's why i subscribed and listened for a while now. Music is a powerful medicine which in your style of playing amplifies this fact imo. Thank you.
это грандиозно
I love your videos so much! Are you a self-taught guitarist?
I'm so glad you like them! For the most part, yes. I used different instructional videos and youtube videos to learn most everything on the guitar. Plus, I've had a lifetime of playing the piano and that helps a lot.
