Hello. I need help. I'm looking for information about the Mazda6 3.0 V6 engine. Namely, the tightening torques for the cylinder head bolts, connecting rods and camshafts.
@totylkojam4027 i would need tonknow the year of the car. It takes time out of my schedule for me to look this info up so please keep that in mind when I provide it to you.
I'm surprised that it takes all that to change an oil pan gasket. . Seems quite extensive and what was the reason for all of this work? I've got the same motor in my car and have a steady oil leak that I have yet to locate since I was told it needed valve cover gaskets I purchased it this way for a decent price and jumped in and changed the valve cover gaskets and upper and lower intake gaskets and have been disappointed that it didn't seem to stop much. I don't have the knowledge to disassemble the entire thing to make it worth the time and money and everything else to put it back together. Thanks for your input.
Thats not the normal oil pan gasket. Thats the upper oil pan which connects to the engine block and the oil pan connects to the bottom of it. Its a very extensive, hard job. Pretty much the same thing. We had done his head gaskets, oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets. It still had another leak where the upper oil pan meets the engine block.
