Why do I feel like I'm at a dance club when listening to this audio?
@am74343 youre the second one to mention music. My shop neighbor must of had his music playing. I personally dont hear it. I keep my stereo off when I video.
My kids car starts, runs for a few seconds. Then dies. 2003 Grand Prix 3.8 could this be the problem? I’m out of the country. Can’t diagnose myself
@Ian-of9oi theres way to many possibilities for this to be diagnosed on youtube.
I watched the video 3 weeks ago. Then went to do it yesterday. The deeper one in was what I thought was the easier one. I couldnt find the first one. Then after changing the harder one I watch again and was pleasantly surprised that now I only have the easy one left to do. 😂 Thanks for putting this up on youtube. ❤

Will be making all these modifications to mine, i was hoping you would do a full reveal of the car in a video, maybe a video of it driving from different angles. I will be buying those taillights first thing also😅
@nezzyg2.0 Shes been driving the car for awhile. She did get into an accident so I had to do some bending and had to go back to the original headlight housings for now. Last time I rode with her, it sounded like the downpipe gasket was leaking too so Ill probably get in and replace that. Cars doing great besides those issues however. She absolutely loves it. It turns a lot of heads and she get comments about it at car meets too lol. Ill see if I can talk her in to doing a small video with me possibly.

I can't find any REPT504608 Replacement Ignition Coils available at any vendors at the moment. Any suggestions for alternate parts?
@Jim5150jvc my clients provide their own parts. For coils, I personally actually recommend either duralast or dealership. Theyre pricey but less chances of going out. Generic coils dont last very long.
Thanks again for the video. I did the repair, it was easy. Unfortunately I am still trying to track the oil drip. I was hoping you might identify a bolt for me. There is a bolt, with a internal female hex, screwed into the actual engine block all by itself. It is on the back (right) side of the motor. Behind the oil filter mount, above the oil pan but still very low on the block. Yellow in color (cadmium?) but not brass. It protrudes outward a few threads and is oily. I was afraid to touch it till I knew what it was. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@Floridamarty if youre talking about the one directly behind the cv shaft, thats a spot for a crankshaft holding tool. You can seal that one with thread lock. Theres a couple other things that can leak in that area and make it look like the oil filter housing or oil pressure sensor. Valve Cover Gasket Leak (very common) Power Steering Pump Leak (also common) This one will leak under the pump, on the engine mount, down the backside of the engine and under the lower intake manifold. Camshaft and crankshaft oil seals. Its always best to start with upper leaks when dealing with what looks like lower leaks cause every leak moves down the engine and blows back while driving. I always start with top leaks, pressure wash the engine when Im done and watch for anything new that developes after a couple days of driving.
Awe come on man! Get off RUclips! Wheel lug torque should be 95 ft. Lbs.
@roberth7929 not according to Prodemand/Mitchell which is a program designed for automotive shops around the world with a pretty hefty monthly fee. Take it up with them if you feel theyre wrong. No need to be a dick to the guy that takes the time during his jobs, making videos, to try to help you ;) Youre welcome.
Pathetic response. Manufacturer’s torque specifications are not subjective. They’re designed by default to prevent injury, damage, and failure. Stop posting incorrect torque specifications plain and simple.
@roberth7929 again, talk to prodemand/mitchell which is used by probably 75% of all dealers and shops around. Or maybe since youre so great, you should make your own program for us 35+ year mechanics ;) As a matter of fact, since you know it all, why are you even watching videos?
Oh so we’re taking measurements now? Did you get those from your shop rate calculator as well? If so…
@roberth7929 🥱 Nice chatting. Im sorry you had a bad experience with a mechanic somewhere and for some reason want to take that out on me just cause I make videos to help others with diy repairs and to save money. If you knew me or spoke with my clients, I really think youd have a different view. Have a great night and happy new year!
Dude! Where are you getting your torque specs at? Spindle nut torque spec is 242 ft lbs! And a light coating of oil on the seating surface. Come on man!
@roberth7929 not according to Prodemand/Mitchell which is a program designed for automotive shops around the world with a pretty hefty monthly fee. Take it up with them if you feel theyre wrong.
Are you sure you titled this video correctly? I don’t think you’re all there bud.
@roberth7929 yea, cause I can see from you watching my video that you have a $200/month program used by a majority of dealers and shops telling you the proper torque specs huh? Youre lucky I cant post pictures here.
@roberth7929 your beef is with prodemand/mitchell, not me 🤷♂️
How about this, take some time and look into Honda’s actual wheel lug nut torque specification for a 2015 Honda Odyssey. Or even better, maybe some of your subscribers can do it for you and I bet you’ll be amazed as to the results! 80 ft. Lbs. ended in 2004. Probably when your buddy or public library last renewed their online shop manual subscription.
@10:20 it should be 22 ft lbs. not 40. Just had to drive 175 miles round trip to pick up a new drive shaft bearing bracket that the previous mechanic over torqued and ripped out the aluminum threads.
@roberth7929 not according to Prodemand/Mitchell which is a program designed for automotive shops around the world with a pretty hefty monthly fee. Take it up with them if you feel theyre wrong. As you can clearly see, nothing was stripped out from my work nor prodemands listed torque specs.
Yea buddy, a mechanic as qualified as you did my last axle job. That’s why I’m trying to help you. It’s an aluminum housing and you’re destroying it.
@roberth7929 ok buddy!
@roberth7929 wouldnt be in my own business for over 15 years with repeat clients from different states with 4.8 star reviews on google and 5 star reviews on facebook if I was destroying cars 🤦♂️ How about you? Wheres your shop located and how do you help your community on a daily basis?
Thanks man. This video helped a ton. I have a 2001 Chrysler Sebring. There were some differences but nothing too different.

Good job Watt are the signs that the rocking pinion is not working?
@VicMprado most times a rack can be caught at the first signs of leakage where the steering shaft attaches or more common at either end where the inner tie rods attach. Other signs can include but not limited to, noises inside the rack, skipping steering or even complete loss of power steering (you can still steer but it takes a lot of effort).

How long after doing this job did u get alignment. I’m about to do this same job just wondering if I should hold off closer to alignment date. Will be driving 1 week 1 tank of gas on the new assembly before I can align is that bad ?
@svmoto8347 this is a clients car. I recommend alignments asap to avoid uneven tire wear.
what size are the screws that hold the rotor on?
@doginme1234 theyre phillips screws. A #3 phillips screwdriver head is usually best.
I did that silver thing come out
Those are the plug/coil sleeves. They just pull out. The rubber on the coils can expand a little with heat so they sometimes stick. The sleeve might need a new seal under the valve cover and could be the cause of the valve cover gasket leak. You can see the oil build up on that third plug when i pull the plug out. I did let the client know about it.

@sean9267 you may need link extensions. Ive had others mention that whatever kit they got came with some. Also, sometimes putting the vehicle on the ground will bring it to where it needs to be, I run into that mostly in the rear on a few different lifts and truck brands.
Am I crazy but where is the CV Joint?
Youre not crazy. Its rear wheel drive.
THANK YOU! Finally, a video using the thing for real work. I’ve been debating over the 12v driver or the impact. I have plenty of strong air ratchets and impacts. I need something for push mowers and hand held equipment. So yea, I want a tool as compact as possible with as little torque as possible but still able to easily do the job.
