When I was young, I aspired to leave an impact on humanity as large as I possibly could. I later learned that my aspiration for a legacy was ego driven and the goal was resolved when I realized that every human, even the greatest among us, will one day be forgotten.
I mention this because I believe Kellis' conclusion and philosophy is much more positive and useful. The concept that all of our ideas will leave an impact on the humans currently around us as well as the future of our species in totality- is truly beautiful. Thanks for sharing this nugget Lex
